To threadjack for a moment (please forgive me):
As a child I have always been curious about the construction and design of mascot characters from the theme parks and television, including Big Bird and Snuffy from Sesame Street and Sweetums from the Muppets.
Over the years and with the help of the internet's growing database, I have seen photos and videos of the costumes from Sesame Street (and Sesame Place), the Muppets, and certain costumes from various theme parks....with one major exception: Disney World.
Somehow, the Disney Theme Parks division has miraculously been able to strike down photos/video of their mascot costumes on the rack or partially dressed on an employee. The one exception is very minute: an employee video shot for a cast member only event was filmed on Main Street: a battle between the costumed characters of Judge Frollo and Phil from HERCULES. In the video, Phil beheads Frollo so you see the character without the headpiece, which for that costume is actually worn similar to a hat.
One day I expect that Disney's luck will break and some photos of a Mickey Mouse putting his helmet on may make it onto the internet.
