Beka, you bitch, are you going to Giants stadium? I think Ellie is thinking of checking it out as well.

The class is Society And InfoTech. My topic is going to be something about how the Internet has shaped the way people form social bonds and pushed the parameters of what defines friendship and social interaction. Beyond that, I haven't the faintest clue. It's only 2000 words, but I haven't even started the research.

YESS giants stadium. and i couldn't go to MSG cause i had a field hockey game that day and my parents wouldnt drive to continental airlines arena. so i'm NOT missing this one.

i don't think its amusing. with tiff's avatars and such, she's kind of become the "scapegoat" of hideous pictures on this site. but its gotten stupid.

Yeah, it's really interesting. Hell, I think I could be my own case study! It's just that the prof said not to format it like your typical essay, and instead create the main page plus 5 additional pages and be aware that she may not go "in order", so it needs to be written to accomodate that.

I remember Allie saying something about that - but still, where's my Halifax buddy? I don't think she even knows about the more recent letter I got from King's! *cries*

Cam, no idea. But it's so old, and really embarassing, not because I think people think that's actually me, but because I don't want people to think I crave that sort of attention or that I condoned the creation of that thread. My sense of humor is slightly fresher and funnier than that.

Latest letter from King's has me #2 on the admission waitlist. Apparently I'm just as qualified and have as much "journalistic potential" as their other successful applicants, yeeeet.......they're accepted and I'm not. F*CKers. Jess on here said that sometimes they speak the truth and things like geographic location, etc., are mitigating circumstances. Still, last year the waitlist didn't move at all, and the deadline for first-offer acceptees to confirm their admission is April 30, so I won't find out if I get in or not until I'm in Europe. Same with whether I get an interview with U of Manitoba.

Brent? Nothing new on the Brent front. He called me a few days ago. I told him to call back later because I had a call on the (non-existent) other line, and then left the phone off the hook.

Europe plans are going crappy. Everything's confirmed but I don't know what I'll be doing for my one full day in London. Billy Elliot's sold out, Woman in White is sold out, and Chicago only has matinee seats available, and I don't want to have to cut short my sightseeing in the middle of the afternoon for it. So I don't know what, if any, West End shows I'll be seeing. Plus I'm nearly broke and haven't bought any Pounds/Euros yet.

I'm avoiding Brent for the very reason I mentioned a few days ago - I don't need emotional and relationship baggage right now as I'm trying to finish my last semester on a high note and figure out what I'm going with my education and my career. I was going to go to an open call for young Asian actresses for a local indie movie, but the parents are nixing that idea.

Yeah, just GB. Sucks though, because everyone tells me that London has superior shopping to Italy and France, because in those places, everything is either ridiculous Chanel-type high end, or piss poor. It's so ridiculous - things in pounds are roughly the same price as things in Canadian dollars, just...in pounds. So like, a GBP20 plate of pasta is the same as a C$20 plate of pasta. Just, like, C$55.

I'm leaning for Les Mis over Chitty. Is Meatload in it? What other options do I have? Debating over Producers.

BTW, Shib, I don't know if I'll wind up auditioning. I don't even know if I'll be paid or in town while it's filming. I just know that listening to Siv try to make the acting thing work while in school has motivated me to want to put myself out there and see for myself if I'm missing anything by not staying in the film industry. I have the opportunity to work full time as a PA, but it's not as satisfying to me as having a bit of creative control, either in front or behind of the camera. Plus even watching that craphole Cats reminds me how much I love working in theatre.

Hmmm...Chitty does look a tad rubbish, I grant you. And you know this isn't the big, original Les Mis, don't you? It's not the one that opened twenty years ago, it's a very scaled down version in a smaller theatre. Still...I'm sure it's fine.

How about POTO in it's birthplace? Vagina Monologues? I think Sharon Osbourne is in it at the moment. Blood Brothers? That's supposed to be fab, right? Yeah - you're going to Blood Brothers, it's settled.
