HEEEY! Can I be a b*tch-in-training?
i'll be a lot better in a week, i swear.
i vote yes, monkey.
aagh....my professor is reading my essay RIGHT NOW.
*vomits in corner*
You sick, hon?

Ah, when other people throw up, it makes me do it, too. Try not to think about it!
Give me three good reasons why I should go study for finals tomorrow.
i can't not think about it.
i'm sitting IN HER OFFICE as she reads it.
I puked up water this afternoon. It was great. Like pointless bulemia.
Allie, no, it doesn't get better. It gets much, much, much worse. Because then you've got the same obligations and snarkiness to deal with from the parents, plus real responsibilities. Argh. (BTW, ate at Lumiere on Saturday, and it was DIVINE until I got drunk and puked at the restaurant. But I stole a Rob Feenie hand towel from the bathroom!)

You'll always have that handtowel to remember Rob Feenie by! And tiff? Now I'm terrified. Can I just stay here forever? I think I need a hug... and I wish I drank.
AH! I hate having people read my stuff when I'm right there. What are you doing on here in your professor's office, anyway?
Allie, you like in the maritimes and you don't drink??? Is that just a Newfie thing?
b_s_t, I can't stand that. I'm going over to my old high school tomorrow to get my librarian to pore over mine. Is it good?
Monkey, study for your finals because:
1) If you fail, you'll end up like me. Lazy, panicking about her future, and depressed.
2) If you do well, you get bragging rights.
3) Smart people are pretty.
ah, allie....you don't know about my professor.
she's really more of a friend than a professor. i took 5 classes from her, and she's absolutely awesome.
What she means to say is b_s_t's been macking on her.

I don't think it's only a Newfie thing, I just never got into it. Although, you can bet I'll be out partying in the bars (probably pubs actually) on my 19th birthday!
Are there a lot of Irish-descent people from NS? I know there's loads in Newfies. Good fun, them Newfs. Nicest people I've ever met. I was the first Chinese person some of them had seen in the flesh!
How many more months till your 19th, m'dear?
This place has been pleasant and calm today. Is BSo on strike?

Less than four months 'til I'm legal! I'm counting down.
One of my friends comes from Nfld. I love her parents to death. Her mom is hilarious. Everything deserves a cup of tea, and she likes to say, "And dat, eh?" (which is easier to say than type...)
Mostly Scottish people in Nova Scotia, but lots of Irish, too, I guess. But everything's tartan and pubs and celtic... ceilidhs and the like. I love it!
Oops, maybe I'm thinking Scottish and not Irish. Eh, well, they all drink and wear kilts, don't they? (I hope no Scottish or Irish person was reading that. That's probably as bad as being like "Chinese and Japanese are both the same. They have black hair and slitty eyes, eh?") *looks around nervously*
Do you have an accent, or no? When I worked in Newfoundland, I had the funniest "normal Canadian"/Newfie hybrid.
BTW, I gotta run. Will be back online in an hour or so. TTY then! (BTW, did you watch Iron Chef America this week? I missed it. I only caught the buffalo battle last week. Feenie's competing on BAttle of the Crab on Feb 20 - I hope I meet him at Feenie's Restaurant on Sunday!)

I don't get the Food Network at school.
We say our a sounds differently here... hard to explain.
TTY when you get back on!

I wasn't stressed, but hearing about everyone else's made me stressed. How was your trip home? Mmmm cookies.
it wasn't too bad.. It started raining and damn if people lose their brains when it rains..

Rain... oh, geez. What a mess that would cause here if it started raining. After a week of snow! Crazy.
I'm trying hard not to be stressed. I'm looking forward to my dad coming to visit tomorrow, possibly. He's taking me out to lunch. I haven't seen him since Christmas!
awww.. I haven't seen my dad for a few weeks.. he calls me periodically to make sure I'm still alive.. <--- his words not mine.. heheh and he lives like 15 minutes from my work.. I'm such a bad daughter..
ooo The Rent tour will be back in eastern Canada in March sometime.. I know you liked them
