Hey, there's some minor angst--so I was having lunch with a friend of mine today, someone I was planning on seeing U2 with. She doesn't know that I've got my finger in another pie, so to speak, in case another friend can get me tickets if I can't get tickets. Anyway, so she said, "I'll let you plan this since you're the one so excited about it." and she said to one of her friends having lunch with us who I don't really know, in separate conversation, "Tiff has an obsessive personality. Really."

Should I be offended and/or ditch her for U2?

See, the thing is she didn't mean it in a mean way, but it pisses me off because then it implies that I've got less of a life than her. Bitch is taking 3 courses per semester, on academic probation, and will graduate after menopause has kicked in! If I've got an obsessive personality (I prefer "Type A"), at least it's getting me somewhere!!

But I can't ditch her if I can't get tickets through my other friends, right? It just pisses me off that she expects me to do all the work to get her tickets to the hottest concert in Vancouver! Then again, she also said she's willing to pay whatever it costs.....

Tiff, I'm sure she didn't mean that obsessive personality thing nastily, so I'd say leave her be on that front..but not excited about U2??? Not only should you ditch her, you should take her money and get her tickets to see Celine (or someone)!
