don't know what co-op terms are.

I get an Associates (I think) at the CC and transfer for the BS at the UW.

Co-op terms are when you take a semester off (say, during the summer) and apply your learning to a fairly advanced job related to your major (the hiring is through your university co-op program and Bachelor-specific, which is what differentiates it from just getting a job the normal way). That's how I got work with Immigration Canada. It's really good for networking and a lot of the time, the companies that hire you for a term will either extend/renew you or offer to hire you again once you've finished your degree!

Hi hos and bitches! Just got back from everything and I am NOT going to work!

The dentists went well, as expected. However, the doctor told me I'm pretty sick which surprised me. He said I have asthmatic bronchitis and I shouldn't have any exercise (YAY!!!!) and not to work. So I called out sick and I will sit on the couch and watch tv with my 4 prescriptions. oy. All I want to do is breathe!

I guess co-ops are like internships? If so, yeah, I could probably do my internships at the firm I work at. They're being very supportive.

There are sicknesses where they make you not exercise? Sign me the hell up! How long are you out of commission for?

DayDreamer, yeah they're like internships, but they pay better and it's usually more than just an entry-level or sub-entry-level position. It makes sense that you would do it through your company if you're certain you're planning on staying with them; the major reason you would do a co-op is if you wanted to explore different career options at different firms.

Tiff, I called in sick for tomorrow too. I told them I'll go back Thurs. night. I'm supposed to start feeling better in 48 hours. Meanwhile, I'll just have to be happy eating some cookies tonight. HOw are you feeling tonight? Are you trying to make a difficult decision tonight?

I'm feeling alright. I keep trying to nap since I have a ridiculously early call time tomorrow but people give phoning me so I'll be a zombie in the morning! Warming up a big ol' plate of pasta drowned in cheese. No difficult decisions to make, sadly.

Je me couche...well after I run a search. Great now, at this rate I won't know French and Calculus will still astonish me. Hrrrrrm, I wonder how long I can ditch tutoring before I get kicked out of Mu Alpha Theta...since I um plan to be tutored tomorrow morning by a friend, and if any studious freshmen actually show up to tutoring I'll have to ask them to take a hike since I'll be busy and it's not like I remember the math I need to tutor. Oh well...I just need to make sure no one writes up one of those complaint forms about me. Because I have a feeling my over inflated math average is either computational mistake or the fact that I'm supposed to tutor the kiddies...and if my average drops I get kicked out of the lovely honor society. (It was the only one I couldn't find some BS excuse to tell the AP why I couldn't be tutoring people...)
