After watching that again, and then watching the kid being interviewed, there is no way this kid is suffering some deep trauma from his "incident".
Watch his face in the "punching" footage. He never stops smiling...and he "punches" Tigger back.
And then look at him squirm and try to come up with an answer to the interviewers questions. He can't. He knows nothing really happened.
Looks to me like someone's parents are out to make some $$$$$.

I have never seen so much "Ugly American" behavior as when I went to Disney World. It was as though somebody invited an audience from the "Jerry Springer Show" into the park. I suppose I'm shielded from a lot of it by living in Chicago. But Americans, on the whole, can been a very tacky, ill-mannered bunch of oafs.
