The dumbest movie you'll ever love.
Watched this gem just a few weeks ago. A tremendously stupid film, but so damn fun to watch. I have been a fan for years.
My personally signed original double sided one sheet hangs proudly above my bed. When I got it signed a number of years ago, Ms. Peterson said how NBC was still owner the film and wouldn't give her any of the rights to it, including poster reproductions. She really hates them and understandably so.
This has been one of my favorite movies ever since I saw it in th theater when I was 9 years old. And not that I ever need a reason to watch it, but today seems like a good day for it.
This film is terrific!
One of my favorites also. Can we never speak of ELVIRA'S HAUNTED HILLS though?
LOVE it too! Fun fact, she financed that one. Her TV pilot was kinda terrible but the first one is what a good 80s movie is made of.
Elvira needs to come to Broadway. NOW.

This was SUCH a necessary tonic in 1988. The anti-sex backlash of the '80s was in full effect and James Bond wasn't allowed to sleep around and it was just soooooo great to see Elvira bring her Mae West sensibility to the big screen. And Bob. Beautiful, unwaxed-chested Bob.
When I first saw Bob in those tight jeans of his, I knew for sure I was a homo.

Her feud was with Jim Signorelli, the director. He worked for years doing SNL's parody commercials. They despised each other rumor has it. I believe other then the classic SNL commercials this movie was his only other claim to fame.
To this day, if I hear someone ask, "How's your head?" I always want to reply, "I've never had any complaints." Man, I loved that movie.

Me too!
JG2, I don't just WANT to reply with that answer, it's the only one I ever give. And I'm sure you can guess what I say whenever I hear someone say "Well, I NEVER!"
Depending on the company, I give the answer. It makes my wife roll her eyes. Too often I chuckle to myself. lol
LOL. But it makes my day when people get the reference.
I ADORE the first film and actually like the second one- I want Elvira to make another! She's just plain Awesome and one of the coolest people to meet!
She's been working on getting another film made for years now, she says.
