Top Chef: All Stars

Funny, I find Spike to have a much more confident bark than bite. I have never been that impressed by his cooking or his atitude (I got a sexist dismissive vibe from him), but that just might be me.

They could have forced Jamine to go out there - it was a mistake for Trey to be put out, and a bigger mistake for anyone to trust Angelo...

Love Carla. I hope she takes this whole thing.

Carla is my favorite this season. I love her attitude. I like Tre too, and it's a good thing he had immunity. Personally, I would have loved for Jamie to go out there with her damn chickpeas, but eh, it is what it is. I'm just glad Fabio is still around. Everything he says manages to make me chuckle.

That was remarkably well played by Jamie. Shifty and shady, sure. But well played.

And my love for Carla only grows. That f*cking Xena Warrior Princess yell that she's incorporated into her shtick KILLS me.

I knew Spike was going home from the beginning. His hair was different in his interviews than at any other time in any other episode. It was the same thing for Tiffany last season...right before they went to...Hong Kong was it? It's taken YEARS to crack the Bravo edit!

Spike going home was no surprise. He didn't trust his own dish and let others stick their hands in. It's like he's never seen the show. Had he put forth his original concept, it is very likely Tiffany would have been sent home. The only real complaint the judges had for Jennifer Aniston had to do with her portions.

Jamie dodged a bullet big time. I'm not sure why she didn't shift gears when she was first concerned the chickpeas wouldn't cook in time. She really needs to step up if she wants to stay in the game, though.

I'm so thrilled for Carla. She is my favorite and I really hope she wins. And I'm equally thrilled for Fabio. Making gnocchi shine like that is really difficult. But I'm afraid pasta may not be enough to take him to the end.

I don't know, Mr. Matt, Fabio's gnocchi seems like it's made of unicorns and rainbows...and the fact he can pretty much schmooze his way out of anything will probably get him close, if not to the finale.

(That wasn't meant to be sarcastic, I actually do think he'll be okay. Although it'd be nice if he could step out of pasta once and a while).

First Dale and now Spike...is this a conspiracy to get ALL the cute guys off the show??
"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Agreed. I love Spike. Although I have a strange little crush on Marcel. Am I alone on that one?

I loved Jamie during her season but her head has definitely gotten bigger since then and I'm not a fan anymore. Carla is the definition of classy. I would LOVE to go to her house for dinner. You know it would just be the most welcoming, most fun, and most delicious dinner. I'd even bring the wine.

Yes, Wend, you are.

Even thought he's grown up a little, Marcel is a douche.

He is, but he's so amusing to me. He's the bad boy you know you should stay away from, but there is something that draws you to him still. Maybe he reminds me of my ex boyfriend?? Top Chef: All Stars

If Marcel didn't talk, I'd take him. Top Chef: All Stars

As long as he kept cooking, I'd take him. For a night anyway.

Okay, Angelo is slime. Casey deserved to go. Jaimie is only on for the conflict. Obvious the producers told the judges to keep her for the TV conflict factor.

I liked Casey. Jaimie has no business being on this show. Marcel is an ass.

Sad to see Jennifer Aniston go. True, her dish appeared to be the worst, but I honestly thought Jamie would be gone just for consistently being in the bottom.

Marcel looks like a meth-head to me. And when did he start talking like a gangsta rapper? Is he somehow trying to compensate for his commitment to his rather homo coif?

I don't know about that theory, Macaroon. There is plenty of good drama left between Angelo reworking others dishes, and Douche club gold star members Marcel and Dale.

Gail Simmons was adamant on her EW blog that the judges were unable to eat Casey's dish. I knew Jamie getting two dishes was trouble one way or another, she managed to turn it into her own immunity. She picked a challenging dish. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

Marcel has to be on some spectrum.

I am hot and cold on Fabio but that turtle story was hysterical.

You just knew that them serving their versions of Chinese food at a popular Chinatown spot during lunch hour was asking for trouble.

I guffawed when Carla made her analogy by calling Tom, 'the daddy'.
