i dont understand how hes still alive? they managed to assasinate JFK. shot and wounded Reagan. but this waste of oxygen is still around? HOW. (and yes i know pence is worse) im just shocked at the lack of attempts lol

I second almost all of this. Such a shame he's still on my planet.

However, Pence isn't worse. Trump is doing all kinds of things to destroy civil society, and he's also a thin-skinned toddler commanding the most powerful military in history and an arsenal of weapons that could destroy the world at his command. Pence is just a run-of-the-mill religious conservative who would do some terrible things, but they could all be undone when better people came to power.

I’m no fan of Mike Pence, at all, but I don’t buy the “he would be worse” theory. Pence would not be attacking the free press, discrediting government agencies, undermining his own cabinet, and tweeting like a toddler. He’s at least an adult.

Pence has spent much of his career working against those of us who are members of the LGBTQ community.  He has never been, is not now, and never will be our friend.

Pence would be just as bad, just as destructive to what America stands for. He just wouldn't be nearly as verbal or transparent about it and that scares me even more.

Does anyone honestly know the number of people in trumps security detail is. I remember when Obama first got in office they made a really big deal about he had the biggest security detail out of any previous president. I imagine trumps might be bigger than his...

Because one of the biggest threats to the LGBTQ community from this administration is the quick pace they are nominating federal judges with strong social positions that aren’t favorable to LGBTQ individuals and the senate is rapidly confirming them. I’m not saying that Dems will take back the Senate in 2018, but that it’s not always about the person sitting in the White House.

It only would be notable if he HAD issued a Pride Proclamation.  And even then, it would only sound insincere and be filled with self-serving superlatives, lies and bizarre tangents leading to childish insults and name-calling.  I hope I never hear him make an attempt at a Pride Proclamation.
