yeah last night's episode was too hokey for me. Must every ABC show have the same Alias exposition? i hate the mood lighting and villians in the dark. there doesn't have to have espionage all the time people!

nevertheless, i totally loved the bunny plotline. and Vanessa Williams' assistant rocks!

I really loved the last night's episode. I love this show in general. I love "hokey" and "cheesy".

The writers have got to get away from Betty getting hurt in every episode. Her boss said it last night, "You work in an industry where looks are important." They need to start writing in more of her being fiesty. For example, last night when she said "I'm from Queens and I'll punch you." The differences between her and the good looking girls should be stressed as a positive, not as her running away crying.

I agree, Goth. I finally had a few free days, so I sat down at my computer and watched all three episodes. I like it a lot, and see definite potential. That's saying something, because it's pretty hard to get me to religiously watch a television show. But anyway, I think (or just hope) that Betty will become a bit fiestier with each episode. Once she starts getting used to the rude comments, I have a feeling she'll buck up a little.

I also have a gut feeling that Marc, willhemina's assistant will become Bettys friend... I dont know why I can just see it happening.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, America is what keeps me coming back. I don't think it is a great show, but she is just so d*mn charming. I need to put her films on my Netflix list.

I love UGLY BETTY.
I have that same feeling about her and Marc. I have a feeling she'll win him over.
I despise whats her name- the secratary who posed as Betty for the meeting, I hate her. I believe her name is Ashley.

I watched America in SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS again last night, and I loved it. She's fantastic.

America is so great in 'the sisterhood.'

I ESPECIALLY love the part where she sings "Nothing" from 'A Chorus Line' in the kitchen.

I love Ugly Betty; it's one of my favorite shows on TV right now.

Remember, it is an American version of a telenovela, meaning it's supposed to seem kind of cartoonish and a bit farfetched.
Also, if it stays true to the telenovela structure (which, I'm guessing it will) Betty and Marc will get together. That's the basis of many telenovelas, delayed passion.

DBillyP if I can make a suggestion, rent REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES before you rent SISTERHOOD, if you've never seen any of America's past works- CURVES is just so. good. I watched America in a Disney Channel movie just because I'd seen her in CURVES and loved her work, I enjoyed CURVES that much.

Nicholas Gonzales makes everything better.

I cant wait for next weeks ep. Mark in the Betty halloween costume- hilarious.

Delayed passion? Then you meant Daniel, right? Daniel is Betty's boss. Marc is Wilhemina's gay assistant.

Marc was really, really funny last night! And I loved that sweet little scene with Betty's nephew.

GREAT idea! Where can I find a Guadelajara poncho?!
