Not a recommendation for a NYC vet, but an overall suggestion. I can't speak for NYC, but where I live, because of covid, many vets are making the owner wait in parking lot, and they take and do whatever to your pet outside of your view, inside their office. Not all are doing this. So that may be something to ask prior when looking and selecting. Both my brother and niece had issues with their separate vets, because the communication broke down between the staff and the vet on what they were suppose to do with their dogs. We are a family who likes to be in the room and observe/confirm what is actually being done whether it's a pet or extended members of family.
