Perhaps "Molly" would be a better nickname...but I am sooo not "Molly Mormon", LOL!
Here is a recipe for "Cheesy Hashbrowns" (a.ka. "funeral potatoes)
CHEESY HASHBROWN CASSEROLE
2 lb. Ore Ida hashbrowns, thawed
1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 c. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 of med. onion, chopped
Salt & pepper
Combine all ingredients. Put in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with bread crumbs or cornflake crumbs and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour
There are some variations. Some folks add 8oz cream cheese, some use Potatoes O'Brien so there are bits of red and green pepper and onion in it.
It's really very good...one of my fave dishes at a Potluck!

SOMMS: Yes, those potatoe are excellent with porkchops or with baked ham. A real favorite dish!

Aww yes good old Molly Mormon.. all I can say is everything I ever wanted to know about mormons I learned from "the Singles Ward" that movie was hilarious..
