No Papa.You are grasping at the Wanda Sykes is wishing Rush Limbaugh's kidney to fail argument,completely ignoring the lead up to that.I will say it again, you are picking parts of what she said and editing it to make some sort of argument,which I am sure in your mind is credible.

Your initial post,like many, is nothing more than fake outrage. How can you be offended by what she said but then be OK with Limbaugh's numerous racial slurs?I have asked you several times what else about her speech offended you? If that's it it just proves how petty the right has become.She roasted Michelle,Barack, and Joe Biden.However, once she goes after the head of the GOP,The all mighty Rushbo, his followers go nuts.

She brought up Hanity as being one of Obama's critics. Hanity himself offered to be water boarded and she said let someone like Keith Olberman or someone from Pakistan waterboard him if he is offering. I do not recall the part where she said "Then Die!" I doubt she would say that without me remembering,so Papa show me where in her speech she said that.

So Papa, is this normal for you? When your argument falls flat you have to resort to lying? Next thing you know I will be accused of being a traitor who hates my country. Oh wait, forgot to check that one off.

LOL! At least I have answers. You so far have failed to tell me what in Wanda's speech offended you besides her Limbaugh dig. i explained what i found offensive. when was rush at the white house correspondents' dinner? did he make racial slurs while he was there, if he was indeed there? i made no lies, unlike you who claimed flasely that wanda did not call for rush to be waterboarded.

No, I don't think water boarding is funny at all Papa. I guess I missed your post when Rush and Dick Cheney down played water boarding. I also must have missed your post when you expressed the same amount of outrage when Sean Hanity volunteered to be water boarded for charity, in which Wanda was referring to.

I think it's funny that you are offended or outraged when only critics of the right wing point this out.So, if you are so upset with her comments I am assuming you must really be angry with the Bush administration and highly critical of them for allowing this to go on.

No Papa. What Rush does is far worse.Like Joe said, Rush calls himself an entertainer and he is out there every day saying terrible things. Wanda gets up and tells two jokes and YOU are having a hissy fit. Your fake outrage is fooling no one and I will call you on it in every post.

Let me hear your thought on the link I posted about Limbaugh's racial slurs.You excuse those quotes and ignore them because you can't defend them yet instead you go after Wanda Sykes? Talk about being a bully! Damn!!!

rom, since you got here you've been a prefessional outragist outraged by every republican act up to and including their continued use of oxygen.

see i've watched and listened to your various outrages for that whole time. now when the president of the united states laughs hysterically at the idea of a non-supporter being "tortured" and applauds as his death is wished for, you nod approvingly and are either oblivious to your own hypocrisy or have chosen to ignore it. that's fine.

see we're going to be at an impasse for the next four years becuase you've spent the last four being apoplectic over things that you will now accept, excuse and celebrate - primarily by saying, "but what so-and-so did is worse." to use a saying that seems to be at about your level, "if so-and-so did it, does that make it right?"

had rush limbaugh made similar jokes about an entertainer critical to bush - impugning their patriotism, calling for their torture and death - and had bush laughed, the board would be filled with threads calling for apologies and accusing the bush adminstration of setting up the conditions under which it was considered ok to kill its political rivals.

but then the obama administration seems to like the idea of being a thug-ocracy as evidenced by obama's own threats to the business community following as it did his use of a pac to harrass them and his administrations threats towards those critical of it - including the media.

but yeah, rush says lots of obnoxious things on his radio show. does that merit calls for his torture and death? that seems to be what the left thinks is appropriate for those critical of the president and the administration by its actions seems to not only agree but relish the idea.

Now, substitute your name instead of mine and change the word from Republican to Democrat.

Papa, that's not true. If Bush actually did something good, I would praise him for it. I sort of did that right after 911, but Bush screwed it all up.

You excusing Rush I think just shows your hypocrisy. Rush HAS said things like that and has never once shown any hint of remorse.

It all comes down to you pretending to be outraged over 2 Anti Rush jokes Wanda made vs. All the nasty things Rush has said where you either cheered him on or remained silent.If you were a critic of Rush's and actually spoke out over some of the things he has said, I would give you more credibility.

Spin this all you like.That seems to be what the GOP is doing nowadays because that is how desperate they have become.

it's like a catch-22: you say that becuase i did not complain about rush's alleged slurs i cannot complain about these, right?

well, since you have complained about every imagined slight even remotely relatred to anyone with mildly conservative leanings since you got here, your defense of these comments paints you as a hypocrite, a coward and a traitor who should be waterboarded and then die slowly and painfully.

ok, i've decided, it's not obliviousness. it's the fact that when a democrat does it, it's ok. and that's fine, but you can't really be self-righteous about having traded your morality and ideals for political expediency. oh i mean you will, but you'll be a fraud and while no one on the left will bother to confront you over it, anyone not drinking your kool-aid will see through it and you.

LOL! Papa, you do put a spin on things.

I live in a state where we have a Republican Governor who I voted for last election. She is an amazing Governor who is a moderate. I know Republicans and Democrats who like her as well.

I have praised Governor Schwartzengger and even John McCain,pre-2008 (before he sold his soul)

I will be the first to admit my disappointment in Joe Lieberman and even John Edwards. We could talk about all of the above and possibly agree on each one of them. So, you trying to paint me as being partisan and not yourself is funny.I,like most of the country,is more liberal than conservative.

I wish we had more moderate Republicans. I have said Meagan McCain,in my opinion, should be the face of the GOP. She is a young fresh face with ideas that are still conservative but open and fair minded,something the typical Republicans of today are not.

So,because I am calling out the GOP I am now tagged as a traitor and unpatriotic. I got this when I went to my first anti war protest in 2003. I've been here a while. You make it sound like I just started posting last week.

I find it curious that all these critics of Obama's are suddenly NOW upset with things that were worse under Bush's 8 years. I didn't say you can not complain about what Wanda said. I am however amused that you are acting like what she said over the weekend is so much worse than the daily hate speech Rush spews out. Of course, when criticized, Rush hides behind the old,"I'm an entertainer" act. Wanda, who actually is an entertainer goes out and tells 2 jokes and all of a sudden you and the entire Republican party are upset and foaming at the mouth. It's like you all got your talking point memos at the same time.

You can dish it out but damn, you sure as hell can not take it.
