So will Hanity, O'Reilly , and Glen Beck. She made fun of Obama and Joe Biden,but they will ONLY focus on her roasting the Republicans. The Dixie Chicks received actual death threats and Rush's response was they did not have a sense of humor.Right wingers can dish it out but damn, they just can not take it. Wanda made fun of Joe Biden as well and it was HILARIOUS! SNL poked fun at Keith Olberman when Ben Afleck hosted and Keith was flattered. What is it with Republicans who can dish out the dirt and bitch and whine yet become little yellow cowards when you push back?

To be fair, papa, Hanity is the one who first diminished the seriousness of waterboarding by insincerely offering to undergo--and he did it with no humorous intent. His intent was to make his audience think waterboarding is something less than torture.
And Sykes's line about Rush's kidneys failing was a punchline to a specific set-up. There is a difference between the declarative sentence "I hope Rush Limbaugh's kidneys fail" and the classic comedic setup-and-punchline construction: "He hopes the country fails? I hope his KIDNEYS fail!"
The comedic construction contains an unspoken ellipsis that the listener fills in, along the lines of: ...It's a terrible thing to wish that the country fails. Why, it's almost as bad as saying...
