Could you guys help me out? I need some war-themed (battlefield, army, etc) songs (for or against) that blatantly state war is the theme of the song. Broadway songs or popular songs would be great.

Try a google search on the following shows:

THIS IS THE ARMY by Irving Berlin - a World War II revue that featured an all-soldier cast. Numerous comedic songs about army life.

CALL ME MISTER by Harold Rome - a post WWII revue that featured a cast of veterans (and women who had been USO entertainers). Numerous songs about adjusting to life after the war.
