Gwen Verdon. Totally dissimilar except in talent.

"I just saw a sycophantic Rolling Stone piece calling Michael Jackson the greatest pop star in history."
Greatest pedophile in history, yes. Greatest pop star in history? Nope.

I always look forward to you quoting me because you always scrape up something to add! However, I'll have to defer to your expertise on pedophilia.

CC. I appreciate it, but I am no expert. I commonly defer to Woody Allen on such matters.
I have no idea if she's the most talented performer who ever lived. But I do believe she's the greatest entertainer of the 20th century.
May I add a name to the list. I'm not saying she's THE MOST talented performer, but she's definitely ONE OF THE MOST talented performers and a true triple threat: ANN-MARGRET.

She was a kitten. She had a whip.
...and she could sing.
See? Triple threat!
Does star quality equate to talent?
Was Judy as good a singer as Renee Fleming, or Maria Callas, or Anna Netrebko, or Cecilia Bartoli, or Demi Lovato?
Was she as good a dancer as Rudolf Nureyev, or Mikhail Baryshnikov, or Vaslav Nijinksy, or Kirstie Alley?
As good an actor as Meryl Streep, or Marlon Brando, or Phillip Seymour Hoffman, or Katharine McPhee?
Take it from me: You do NOT want to see Maria Callas tapdancing.
