Oh yes, he's back folks.
Apparently Bill Vendall has posted a video blog stating that he is Sanjaya, and that Sanjaya was a character he created for his thesis project at the Rhode Island School of Design.
Personally...I think the kid has just lost his mind.

Posted: 5/23/07 at 2:15pmErm, it seems like American Idol would have figured that out. They do do background checks on the contestants and such. You don't think they would have figured out that the individual "Bill Vendall" was claiming to be didn't really exist and that he was also lying about his age? I just don't see it flying.

Posted: 5/23/07 at 2:25pmI call BS. What an annoying little jerk. He's obviously just trying to stretch out his 15 minutes of fame. And that clip looked like just what it is: some kid playing with a video camera and doing some stupid skit only he and his friends think is funny. Pathetic, really.

Posted: 5/23/07 at 3:40pmIt's obviously a joke and an attempt to stay "Buzz-worthy". He's obviously "acting", badly I may add. Plus he still had the Idol tour to do. If this is all true there is no way he'd announce it now, as Idol and the tour could sue him for breech of contract and potential lost revenue. He's trying very hard to make a viral video, stay in the news and be funny. Sadly he succeeds at two out of the three as it is painfully obvious that he is not funny. What's even sadder is the fact that all of the entertainment "newz" shows will jump all over this and raise his stock however slightly for however long the public continues to care. Look at when he's releasing this, the night of the Idol finale. Coincidence? Nope. Sh!t, I feel dirty and like I wasted 5 mintues of my life on the little puke. So obviously his mission is accomplished.
