Weiner: Mayor or not?

Poor judgement appears to the sine qua non for membership in the Weiner campaign.

According to Talkingpointsmemo.com, Weiner's Communications Director responded to a former intern's critical assessment of the campaign (published in the 'NY Daily News') by calling her (the intern) "A fame-hungry b**ch" who "s*cked at her job". She also characterized the young woman as a "sl*tbag" a "tw*t" and a "c**t"

Desperate times call for desperate, wild-eyed, insanely inappropriate measures, apparently...

I'm also impressed by the Communication Director's compulsive use of the word "like".

She's, like, really rocking this whole "communications" thang...

Weiner: Mayor or not?

BRILL - I - ANT
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Addison, I'm not sure you realize this, but that was satire. Lately, it's very hard to tell the satire from the reporting.

OMG - BUT WAIT, THIS IS NOT SATIRE? WHAT THE.....?

Weiner: Mayor or not?

Right? I'm not a consumer of Talking Points, and I thought maybe it WAS satire--but when the story showed up on the NYT, I figured it might be the goods.

“It’s all bullsh^t,” she said. “I mean, it’s such bullsh*t. She could f*cking — f*cking tw*t.”

Stephen Colbert uses tw*t as a subjunctive past-tense of 'tweet'--but I don't think that's how this woman is using it...

Weiner: Mayor or not?

It is so pathetic that Weiner dominates every news cycle. He is fourth in the polls of a municipal race!

Weiner: Mayor or not?

He and his supporters will always claim he was ahead in the polls pre-escandalo redux. Problem is, how many voters were taking the polls seriously and how many people knew the other candidates as well as the guy who was constantly on TV for all of his sexting trouble? Would Weiner even have been the biggest name without a lot of the scandal that made him leave Congress? Given that Weiner came in late in the race, did not have a lot of backing from local and state elected officials, and also did not have the networking and fundraising strength of the other candidates- I would say his whole candidacy was a balloon waiting to pop.
