Now Weiner has the Hispanics mad at him.

One of New York City’s mayoral candidates is demanding that Anthony Weiner apologize to Hispanics for his use of “Carlos Danger” as an online pseudonym.

Rev. Erick Salgado, who hails from the Bronx and is of Puerto Rican descent, claims the name is insulting to Hispanics. “For Anthony Weiner to hide under a Spanish name to do his bad behavior is very insulting to the Spanish community,” Salgado said yesterday.

I will say the man is a moron for the way he has handled this. HOWEVER, why should he different than any other person in this country who texts their junk on daily basis or shows it on various websites. I still don't get the whole scandal aspect.

If his wife is cool with this s@#t (many wives are) then rock on sister. What people do to get their freak on is their own business. As long as you aren't unethical in business I don't care.

People keep throwing around that he is a sex addict. Maybe he is just SEXUAL! Anytime anyone does anything sexually that surfaces publicly then they have a problem-they are a sex addict.

Must mean all the people on Grindr, Scruff, Adult Friend Finder, etc are addicts. Sure some are, but many are just sexual beings devoid of shame.

Websites are one thing, but hasn't Weiner texted or tweeted pictures of his junk to unwilling or at least un-expecting recipients?

And how is that different from opening your trench coat and exposing yourself to ladies on the bus? (I realize it may be different legally; I mean morally and psychologically.)

Like rape, if perhaps not so damaging, exhibitionism seems to me to be about power as much as sex. The exhibitionist gets his or her thrills from FORCING the viewer to see something whether the viewer wants to or not.

And THAT abuse of power should disqualify Weiner from public office. IMO.

If that's the case, she married the wrong man because by all accounts she runs circles around him yet his career seems to come first. Say what you want about Bill and Hillary but they were always considered intellectual equals.

The right wing is now circulating Breitbart's behavior at the press conference a few years ago as a "model for journalism."

Don't forget who it was that initially EXPOSED Anthony Weiner's weiner (aside from Weiner himself).
It was Andrew Breitbart.

Weiner, with the help of the left-wing main stream media who he KNEW he could count on to help him, accused Breitbart of hacking into his account. It was then that Breitbart was forced to show Weiner the pictures he had of Weiner's weiner --then and only then did Weiner decide to come clean.

I agree with everything that BettyBody said, however, my biggest issue with this whole controversy is that it's distracting from the Bob Filner scandal--a clear-cut case of repeated sexual harassment that I think is much more serious than Weiner's scandal, yet has been given much less attention.
