My favorite candidate is Bill DeBlasio.
For a while it seemed that Weiner and Quinn were the two front runners (this may have changed this week, time will tell, as will whether Weiner actually stays the course).
Leaving aside the likely prospect of a run off (or, put differently if there weren't - or rather hadn't - been a likely possiblity of a second chance to decide between Weiner and Quinn even if I voted for someone else in the first primary), if I had a strong preference for Weiner over Quinn (God that sounds sexual) or the other way around, I'd consider voting for one of them over the other to make sure the clear best of the two got the nomination. But, with or without Weiner's sexting, I don't have a strong preference for one over the other.
In other words, I don't really care all that much that the guy sexts in his marriage, or that, when caught, he'd do what a great many people would do, lie about it, or that he continued to do it after he was caught. If I were convinced that he were the best candidate, I would still support him. But I don't think he's the best candidate.
