"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim

If I was a boy, I would have been named Seabrook. Which in addition to being an awful name all around, rhymes with my last name. So I really like being a girl...

i have a guitar named augusta.

i named my cat (that i love ridiculously) after a beatle's song.

I'm allergic to mangoes, and anything with mango in it.

I would prefer to be able to wear flip flops to work, for the simple fact that I hate sneakers.

I've never been kissed either.

I've lost count of how many times I've seen A Chorus Line. I think it's 12 or 13.

I will never get on a ferris wheel because I'm afraid I'll get stopped at the top.

So wait, weird quirky facts, or ways in which we're OCD? re: Weird, Quirky Facts

I count things all the time. I count my teeth CONSTANTLY. I think the best time in my recent life was when my wisdom teeth started coming through; I went from 28 teeth to 29 to 30. I'm still waiting on numbers 31 and 32 for extra countings fun!

I count stairs too. From the deepest depth of the basement at my old workplace to the tippermost toppermost high took 64 steps. Luckily I only had to make *that* journey once or twice a day, but the abridged trip of 42 steps was more like twelve or fourteen times. No wonder I've started putting on weight since leaving that place.

I used to be afraid of the dark and being alone. Then I realised that what I was actually afraid of was finding out I wasn't alone in the dark. My parents have gone away for a few days, and I'm INCREDIBLY nervous about being in this apartment with only my mousies for company. Wish I still had a dog/cat/rat/something friendly. The dark doesn't fuss me so much anymore. I was plunged into pitch-black unexpectedly last weekend while having a wee and I managed to finish my business and find the exit without getting frightened. Go me! I also used to fear face-at-the-window, but that's gone. I'm still nervous of face-in-the-mirror though.

https://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2006/may/12/comment.charliebrooker - if you don't get what I mean by face-at-the-window and face-at-the-mirror.

Speaking of which, I'm genuinely considering ways to get to hang out with Charlie Brooker when I move to London later this year. I honestly believe we have so much in common that we'd be great friends. And I know that is terrible stalker behaviour and attitude and therefore I should stay away from him as far as possible, but I really can't shake it. O_O

I get obsessed with things really easily. Get me onto the subject of Shakespeare's History plays sometime. But once I see a show that's just as good (or better? Unlikely!), I'll fixate whole-heartedly on that. Until something ELSE comes along. Although considering what shows I currently have plans for, it's unlikely that the obsession will move on any time soon.

Out of idle curiosity and faint romantic hopes, I posted a profile on a dating site this afternoon. I'm TERRIFICALLY amused that in the last four hours, I've gained three fans (no kidding, that's how the site puts it; fans!) and two of them are men over 40. (Stop press! I've got another fan! I must investigate this person! I bet he's over 40 as well! XD) EDIT: yup. Something about this 25 year old lassie apparently attracts the over 40s! How very Freudian!

Giant otters are my favourite animal. They live in south America, grow up to six feet in length, and spend their time sleeping, swimming, eating, spreading their poop around in a territorial fashion, bullying Caimans so the Caimans won't get any fancy thoughts of otter for dinner, grooming each other, and wrasslin'. They call them "river wolves", and they have the mad staring eyes of killers. Did I mention they're OTTERS who grow up to SIX FEET in length? Genius. XD

I really love talking about myself, stupid things, and stupid things about myself. Can you tell? :3

I can't walk on cracks on the sidewalk
When I look at parallel or vertical lines I have to move to a spot where they all line up (weird I know)
I have 3 times on my cell phone where it goes off in order to get up because I think the alarm is always part of my dream
I hate the sound of people eating cereal and soup
I am so afraid of bees I'll do anything to get away from them

I count my steps when I walk (including stairs)
Whenever I step on a crack or some uneven pavement with one foot I have to do the same with the other.
If someone touches or pats one arm or something, they have to do the same with the other.
I color coordinate bowls and plates when I put them away.
I care greatly about what other people think

I hate hate hate pudding or ice cream that has melted too much and is too soft and mushy... it makes me gag due to my really sensitive gagging reflexes. I also gag a lot when the doctor puts the stupid little tounge depresser thing in my mouth. ewwwww.
I can relate to whoever said they have a theatre mom... except i have a pageant mom instead... I have been in countless pageants, especially when i was little. Mom was so disapointed when i stopped growing at 5'0 and to quit doing them because i was too short.
I am obsessed with any and all non fiction books dealing with vampires, werewolves and/or witches.
I also think that the Twilight book series would make an awesome/quirky musical re: Weird, Quirky Facts

I think ranch dressing goes just great with anything - not just salad and pizza, but stuff like chocolate-chip cookies and fried chicken.

My homework always comes out better when I do it at 3AM.

I met Seth Rogen at an industry showcase party. He's a lot taller than you'd imagine.

I'm more comfortable in dresses than in jeans.

I HATEHATEHATE the smell of Victoria's Secret perfume. I just think it's so trashy.

When I'm about to go onstage before any kind of performance, I always stand in the wings and flail around madly for about 30 seconds to get my energy level up.

I have the worst luck in the world. This is a fact. I absolutely NEVER win raffles - the only time I ever did was at the end of second grade to take the class pet home for good, and I found out some five years later that the reason I won was because my mom was the only one who said that I could have that stupid rat.

Precocious child-actor singing will never fail to make me crabby.

I have an irrational fear of clowns.

Food can't mix or touch on my plate.

I have to always have my money facing the same way and in chronological order in my wallet.

If I'm in the car listening to a song and I reach my destination I have to finish the song before I get out or it will drive me crazy all day.

My clothes in my closet are in color order.

I check facebook atleast ten times a day if not more when I'm in wireless zones.

I put ketchup on most warm meals

I can't function without a cup of coffee on early morning days

Doors open in a room at night freak me out

I can't fall asleep at night unless it's dead silent, I don't know how on earth I'm going to survive in the city!

I'm obsessive about driving and I rarely let others drive me (All because I didn't drive the night my best friend died and I had a feeling earlier that day that something was wrong and I just needed to be in control earlier that day)

There must be two windows down at all times in a car if someone wants the window down

I'm over-extended

I can sing a song from pretty much any word someone says

I sing more than I speak

I remind myself daily that it's a new day and anything can happen.

Songs get stuck in my head for weeks at a time.

I consciously plan to do college papers at eleven o'clock the night before they're due. I can have an entire weekend to do the report, but I have some sort of mental block that doesn't lift until eleven o'clock the night before it's due.

I prefer life when the weather is cold. Like, freezing. San Francisco is my favorite place in the world.

If I had been a girl, my name would have been Katharine.

I can't stand coffee. I'm more into tea.

I auditioned for Jeopardy twice, and passed the test both times (Kids' Week and Teen Tournament). Never got called for the show.

Never been kissed
Sometimes think more about auditions for the next show instead of the show i'm in
Friends are like seasons; whether I like it or not, I can't hold a close friend for more then a semester
