Cool. I think Justin is an amazing angel.
Wilson J. H. was absolutely adorable in the RENT 10-year show, even though he wasn't in costume. Well, in the short video on this website anyway.
He was in full costume and make-up for Today 4 U, as well as Happy New Year.
Ohh ok. I haven't seen the whole video so I don't know. Say, how's Anthony and Rodney going with the adoption process? Is same-sex adoption legal in New York?
The adoption process is way too complex to be able to say that something is legal or illegal. Even in New Jersey where there are strict laws against same-sex couple adoption, a family raised foster kids and after years became the first same-sex couple to be granted legal adoption rights in New Jersey.
Then you bring in closed vs. open adoptions, private adoptions...my friend just gave up her baby...really hard, but I learned a lot about the adoption process from that and how much more complex it is than we think.
I hope they're able to adopt. ARGH, government from trying to prevent any loving person from adopting a kid because of so called "alternative lifestyles." Of course that is a whole other soapbox or thread :)
"I hope they're able to adopt. ARGH, government from trying to prevent any loving person from adopting a kid because of so called "alternative lifestyles." "
I agree. I think Anthony and Rodney would make fantastic parents, seeing how happy and in love they are, I know they have plenty of love to share. Alternative lifestyles my ass.
Bravo, Serenade.
And BTW, I love your avatar. :)
Bravo.
...... regardless of the fact that Anthony mentioned it in his book, and of the fact that they'd make excellent parents, I'm baffled as to why you'd think it's okay on a message board to discuss how they're going about the process, and other such private things. Share your opinions 'til the proverbial cows come home, but you're constantly asking weirdly personal questions, Serenade.
So then again, I'm really not all that surprised about this one.
I just did a paper on gay adoption and we talked about it in my college democrats meeting the other day. There are many states that are trying to ban it. The only states that its illegal in are Utah (which don't let unmarried people adopt) and Flordia.
I'm going to have to agree that this is not the most appropriate topic of discussion for this thread, and am therefore (hopefully no one will mind) going to change the subject. I have a good one, though!
I just found this video on Myspace--apparently, this guy is just a lucky fan who got to sing onstage with Anthony. I'm not really sure how he managed that, and it doesn't specify about when/where this took place, but it's really cool.
What You Own
Seconed star that was alot better when he sang in macon right. I was there.
hah, that's so cool. Stuff like that makes me wish I could sing.
.... I should find out if he's singing here.
Renthead, I'm confused about what you mean by that. He... didn't sing WYO in Macon, so there is no way it could have been "better" there. If you mean it was better *than* when he sang in Macon, well... that's a matter of opinion, isn't it? For the kid in that video, it was probably "better" than what we heard, but I'm perfectly satisfied with what I experienced in Macon, so... yeah. I basically have no idea what you're talking about.

Nice pipes. Really clear. And he blended very well with Anthony. He was clearly excited to sing with Anthony.
It would be fun to sing with Anthony.
Thanks for the find, secondstar05.

No, he sang "seasons of love" in Macon but I agree what he sang in Macon was still great. My mom cried when he read from his book.
I heard Emcee sing.
Honestly, not to dwell on things, but I'm continuously surprised about just how invasive people are regarding Anthony's personal life. If you're such big fans of his, you should be much more respectful of his privacy. Geez.
Did you really? You are privileged. Or, well, your ears are not. I don't remember this.
This feels like the "I'm suuuuuch a big Adam fan, but I effing hate his wife and she looks like a man and I hope his miserableeee," stuff.
Of course. Being a fan makes it totally okay to completely insult their significant other. Bonus points if they are with someone that isn't already famous, then they're *clearly* only with them to improve their career. And if they're not a drop-dead gorgeous supermodel- EW, then they're hideous and YOU deserve him SOOOO much more, so you post about it all over the internet- including telling the significant other THEMSELF- and not expect ANYONE to dare disagree with you- because you're a FAN and you're allowed to say this stuff.

I'm still sad that she knows what fans say about her! She doesn't deserve that at all.
I hate that the people that say this sh*t still have the audacity to call themselves fans.
ITA Skittles. I try to be very open-minded and rationalize others' behavior, but sometimes it just gets to be too much--like seeing someone's significant other who one's a fan of on a subway, and approaching them to inform them that a lot of people think they're ugly and that their significant other could do better. Oy. Gavolt.
Geez Em, I've definitely heard you sing/dueted...I mean fine you're not Idina Menzel, but you're really not as bad as you think. And you were having a damn good time singing You should really try to do it more than once a year.
I know I'm a bit late but, did you see the picture of Anthony posing with the Target dog?
Ugh. Adam and Cybele are part of an adorable, loving family and I really wish some fans would suck it up and accept it. I think it's pretty damn evil that some "fans" seriously don't want them happy and together.
