oh wait.. YEAH.. I got me some tickets for wicked (me and my sister) in october in london.. im so excited sry ^_^; this will be my first REAL vacation in like.. 5 years.. (school trips can't be mentioned(god I hate them ) and short trips aside) altough I hope to be able to catch a performance of last five years and seven brides for seven brothers.. that surely would be great fun!!
Does anyone know when ticket sales for L5Y start or for how long it'll play?
I missed tick,tick,... last year and I could still fuss myself.

oh just noticed that this will be my first flight and first time in london *excited* sry for being silly ^^;

Ok, here's a rough document of today.

So my friend, my mom and I got there at around 2:30. I was hoping to get there a lot sooner, but I had driving lessons today, so we were rushing out the door the second I got home. But we still had a good view, and it was fortunatly a lot more laid back and calm than the last San Fran signing. So we bought our books (I'm not really sure what to do with two) and waited for him to come out, wearing the Italia jacket by the way

First he started talking about Rent, and the 94' workshop. He sang a little Rent and Right Brain, which was cool. Then he read the part from his book about singing the Rent songs at the opera presentation, and the Peasents feast.

Then he did a Q&A session. I don't remember hearing any new-ish questions, but as always, he answered each one very nice and thoughtfully. My mom raised her hand really suddenly, but thankfully didn't ask something like "Do you relate to Mark..." or "Why wasn't the original Mimi and Joanne in the movie...". Thank god. He finished with the Seasons of Love acapella, which was beautifl. My friend was this close to crying.

Next he started signing the books, and the line was moving pretty fast. I decided to wait and be last in line (we ended up something like 5th to last). My friend just read Nocture, and asked him how he memorized it, or something like that. I'm not really sure what he said, but she commented later on his direct eye contact throughout the whole answer, saying it was really "intense"

I went up next, and he said hi again, or something like that. Then he wrote "Opiv" on the post-it note they stuck in my book, and wrote "Hi Katie/Opiv." I couldn't believe he remembered that, wow he's amazing. He then signed the picture I brought of us from his show in Februrary- "Hi Katie again." And a

Blah, then my mom got her OBCR signed, and said something about me listening to Rent before the movie, and then becomming "obsessed" when the movie came out. I actually just started listening to it more in November around the time the movie came out, but whatever. If your reading this Anthony, I'm not a crazy movie fangirl.


So that's about it. I'll try to scan the picture he signed, and will post the picture I got with him once the lady that took it emails it. It was very fun, and a lot different from the last signing. Thanks again Anthony!

opiv, that's funny how you wore the same sweatshirt. Too bad he wasn't wearing the same thing. It would've been kinda like deja vu. I like how your previous pictures are in the current picture. Cute picture by the way!

BeingAnUs, that's awesome! I'm glad you had a good time. =) Hm, I'm not sure if Anthony was at the AIDS walk... Saturday he was in SF doing a booksigning, not sure about Sunday, though.
