I've always been disappointed that I can't go to that but I think it makes me much more sad considering I was in NY less than a week before the event and I was at the Nederlander and all. Even if I had been there tomorrow, I wouldn't have had the money to go, but I was so close! *shakes fist*

Eh, I may be on my own, but haircuts are good! Thumbs up from me for the haircut.

I'm sooo depressed that I can't go, especially since there had actually been hope for a while. Tomorrow, the rest of the way home, I will be blasting RENT in my ears on my iPod for hours and crying. Well maybe not literally, but you get the idea.

i'm sad that i can't go either...but alas! I too am a fan of the longer hair...oh well, can't win em all...i'm hoping they do a recording (which would prolly sell a lot) or someone gets some good video and actually posts it somewhere...we can hope!!!

Well, since it's all the obc, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to do a recording, because they've already got the one from 10 years ago. Though I guess sometimes they do live things.

I can't even look at the main board, there's like 5 threads about the concert. Sadness.

well...i know but they have a billion and one videos of les mis, why not one more of rent? but alas, if not i'll just have to live w/it...when anthony was at svsu he said something about a really special finale, but he wouldn't say what it was so??? probably lots of people from lots of casts coming and singing for it? maybe...we'll see i guess!

I wish they'd record the concert and sell it (with the proceeds going to charity), but I doubt they will. After all, people will most likely just fileshare and upload it onto YouTube, so it wouldn't be worth it.

And I agree that they wouldn't do another recording, but I still wish they would do that, too. Their voices have matured, and so has their acting. Small changes in inflection when they sing lines would make a big difference in performance. And make me very happy.

Do you think that they'd do another one in 10 years? I mean, they'd be getting pretty old. Everyone would be at least 40 and for some of that, it might be kinda weird. But yea, anyway...

I'd love to see them record it and give the money for charity because SO many people would buy that. I ended up giving about 30 bucks to BC/EFA last week but I wouldn't mind giving more for that!

Yeah a DVD would be a great idea. sales would be through the roof. If I could get to New York for the Tuesday show, oh man, I can't even imagine. Wow. I've been moping by sitting around playing Rent songs on my guitar. We played the CD in the car. Off to diner now...
