Hey everyone! Just catching up on the thread from the day-- and I see I missed Anthony! Ah, well-- I did get to see him last night. ;~)
OSG, I'm so sorry we didn't touch base ahead of time but glad that you enjoyed yourself. ;~) Also glad that you liked the cell phone comment. As we were leaving, I turned to my friend and said, "Y'know, I hope Anthony knew I was joking about that..."
Skittles, yep, I understand you can hardly see those hearing aids these days!
Em, what you shared was lovely & so sweet. Even if your Mom was taken aback, I'm sure she appreciated the sentiments!
CS-- Woohoo! At least now we know Anthony is ready to go to Canada as soon as the opportunity presents itself!
Okay, yes, I'm still catching up... may post more in a few. ;~)

Still catching up...
S=D, sounds like you had a prime spot at the signing in DC! If you saw me, I was the one with the curly red hair, nice fellow with dark hair next to me. Again, sorry we didn't touch base ahead of time!
Project Runway = SERIOUS ADDICTION! I don't watch a lot of TV, but I must have my fix of Project Runway and Grey's Anatomy. Well, and now I think I'll be watching Cold Case on April 2. TiVo anyone? ;~)
I was rooting for Nick to win on Project Runway as well, and I haven't caught up from last week so I'm not sure who's still in. BUT, if Chloe's still in the mix, I vote for her. Or Daniel V. Must say, I'm not a Santino fan, but hey, to each their own.
Edit: Ha, finally got to the end of the thread. And Skittles, you were dead on-- Santino does look like Rasputin!

That's great. It would be so amazing to have someone be all "Hey, sir, I uh... can't come to work on -insert day here- because Anthony Rapp is coming to town and I'm going to be sick". Oh my.

Yep, that's going to be me! Actually I will be taking a personal day. All I do these days is work, so if I can have an adventure day, I'm going to go for it.

Awww, I missed Anthony. I'm glad he posted again though! Sorry I haven't posted in forever, things have been CRAZY with school.
Anyway, I dunno if you guys have seen this yet, but Anthony's going to be part of the Grand Jury for the New York Musical Theatre Festival! I think that's quite an honor. :) Here's the link:

I'm not even close.
But ooh... we're special now because the Junos are here! And Motley Crue is here tonight... and INXS is coming, and Bryan Adams... and other people... and Coldplay (for the Junos). I just thought that I'd add all my bragging in now... even though it's not really bragging as I'm not going to any of them... though I'd love to go see Bryan Adams or INXS or the Junos. Why was I answering again? Oh yeah, 'fraid I'm not dreaminaret, but... you could always come to Halifax instead I can't help the self-promotion right now, I'm going to go hide myself in a rut somewhere.
I don't live in either. I've been to Toronto a lot, I took night school there with U of T. U of T's campus is pretty much spaced out all over Toronto, and I love visiting the city. I go to school in Peterborough, and the greyhound takes me through Toronto to get home. The CN Tower has an odd calming effect on me after being stressed out with school. I'm assuming you're talking about going to Queen's in Kingston. I visted a friend there for a weekend once. It was a beautiful campus.
unfortunately halifax doesnt have the program i'm looking for... basically i was choosing between toronto, queens, ubc and waterloo and only applied to the first 2 and buffalo... yeah i'm poor right now and it's cheaper for me to be in canada as an international student than a public state school outside of NY. go figure.
but i love canada, if only for the loonies and toonies and the amazing ttc (so much less crowded than the mta) and all that good stuff so you don't have to convince me a bit.
btw, pengwendolyn, my friend studies theatre at acadia. that's in halifax, right?

I <3 the Rocket. Especially the mind puzzle games that they put up on the subway. But I wish they had the Toronto grid behind the map of the TTC like the subway... I was looking at Yahoo Maps Toronto and it was so disorienting after only seeing the TTC map.
By the way, Second Cup schools Starbucks any day of the week. I have a giant thing of Candy Cane hot cocoa for when I'm feeling blue and I got it for all of my friends/bosses/etc for Christmas.
Silver City? Better than Loews. Kernels? Better than Dale & Thomas. I have yet to visit Swiss Chalet or Licks but the ads are amusing enough. Oh and only in Canada is there Christine Cushing Live which is the most hilarious thing ever.
*wants to go back to toronto*
Second Cup owns (or "pwns") Timmy's, although I do like Tim Horton's prices better.... but I am all too fond of Candy Cane Hot Chocolate around X-mas and Toonie Tuesdays in the summer. I'm such a wannabee Canadian. I know how to get from Finch to Kensington, University of Toronto, Yonge & Eglington (a hot spot of the UCC boys of whom I know too many) and like St. Lawrence Market. Haven't traveled to Scarborough by train yet but I have been to all those crazy suburbs like Mississauga and Markham. Guess I gotta say that I love the GTA.
Just another reason why Anthony should come to Toronto

Yeah, at least you're allowed to study there!
I'm not Canadian, but I'm at university (one of the expressions I've picked up) here.
What, no love for Quebec? (Kidding, kidding.) But really, it's not filled solely with French-speaking elitists. If it were, I wouldn't have survived a day here.
