Second Cup doesn't have doughnuts. Tim Horton's always wins. You must have to be Canadian to fully appreciate Timmy's I guess, I don't know anyone who goes to Second Cup.

Okay, I'll admit - I go to Timmy's a lot more than Second Cup, because a) they're cheaper and b) there's one right across the street from campus. :)

No I know plenty that appreciate Timmy's. But my best buddy goes to Second Cup 3x a day. Literally. And I like the atmosphere. But I have patronized Timmy's many a time. And I know that Timbits are better than any pastry that Second Cup has... I brought back a whole box to New York.
Oh, and Bulk Barn? That is sooo amazing.
Btw, I love how like every pizza place is a chain with a jingle. I'm still singing "967-11-11 call pizza pizza hey hey hey" and then that one for East Side Marios that was like "1-877-ESM-LA-LA"

Technically, Tim's is owned by Wendy's which is American. But it was Canadian, and then bought out. There are more franchises, in Canada, which themselves are Canadian owned.
I don't like coffee, so I'm not going to fight on it, seeing as how I don't really care. I've just got a lot of pride in my Timmy's.
Those songs, are pretty much only for the Toronto-area restaurants. And the numbers are songs so they'll be remembered, good marketing technique.

Anyone but Santino, lol. Although he is quite funny. They are setting Daniel up as the heir apparent so I think it is going to be Chloe actually.
I have a certain fondness for Santino, but he needs to be put in his place. He might actually make a good judge.

I never understood the Tim's fascination; it just isn’t as big as it is in the East Coast ( I mean the franchise as a whole). Vancouver does like its Starbucks though… one could say we are almost obsessed

When I was in Vancouver, it seemed to be a bit California influenced, maybe that's why. I would love to live in BC though.

Hey guys! Just got back from Anthony's Philly signing! So, I shall recap my adventure for you all!:
So, i left on the trip to Philly around 530, arrived at Borders around 6 and it was pretty packed, surprisingly with alot of 10/11/12 year olds. I couldn't see the lecturn from where i was, and the store handed out tickets and they would call groups of 25 at a time to line up for the signing, i was number 157. So i chilled where i was until 7 when Anthony came out, and of course i freak. I couln't see a thing from where i stood, thank god the girl next to me had a video camera and held it above everyone's head. He read an excerpt from the book, did his Q and A, then almost forgot he had to sing. He did eventually sing his part in La Vie Boheme, he's so amazing. Then i waited and looked around at books until i could wait in line. Then I got in line, then came my turn! I was shaking partly because i was nervous, and I had to pee and couldn't find a bathroom. Anyway, so it went by so quick, i handed the people my book and dvd then went to stand next to Anthony for a picture. He looked up at me and said Hi, then posed for a picture, only the people couldn't figure out how to use my phone, so i apologized for taking so long, then they gave me my stuff and i said Thank you, he nodded, then i walked away, it all happened in like one minute and it was over so quick. I then stood on the side and looked in my phone, and i found out the lady didn't save the picture, idiot! But hey, it was a fun experiance, and Anthony was great!

Though I do have a picture of us actually smiling, I was making a weird face, so I'll put this one on instead. And all the ones of just him talking aren't that amazing, but I'll put them up if anyone wants to see them. And I have video of him reading and singing SoL. Tell me if you guys are interested.

Zyla where do you go to school? I got a nice size graduate scholarship to Queens that I just found out about tonight so yeah, I'm all about loving Canada right now... should start the "Come to Canada thread" :)

I'm going to be gone for the next week...I'm going to Mississippi with my school to help with Hurricane Katrina relief. It's going to be a 24hr. bus ride, but it will totally be worth it. I hope I don't miss too much here. Have a great weekend/week!
