Mel, it's probably the lighting. The auditorium it was in is really oddly designed, like it has this elevated hall/aisle/section thing in a U shape, around the center seating. The table he was at was in the back and the ceiling there is low because it's under the balcony and the lights were really strange.
Mandi, don't feel bad. I once introduced myself to someone by my BWW screenname, and then he had to ask what my real name was because mentally, I was thinking I'd already introduced myself. Sort of
