I love A Midsummer Night's Dream. Off Topic My high school performed it one year, and I've been hooked ever since.

Our school has done lots of great shows, like Peter Pan, Once On This Island, Arsenic and Old Lace, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease, Bye Bye Birdie, Huck Finn, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Barefoot in the Park, Little Shop of Horrors, Steel Magnolias, Twelfth Night, and a few others that I'm forgetting. My favorite show that our school did was called Evangeline and one of my teachers helped to write it.

My high school didn't do plays. My university doesn't have a drama program. Some students created it on their own. I saw Sound of Music in first year. I missed last years Bye Bye Birdie. This year they're doing Into the Woods.

We have four musicals/plays a year. An all school production, usually a musical, although for the past few years it's been only middle/high school students; a lower school production, a middle school production, and a high school production. This year so far we've done Godspell, some random Lower School Christmas Play, the Trial of Goldilocks for the Middle Schoolers, and we will do Scapin in the spring.

My highschool is doing Into the Woods. Off Topic I can't wait to see it. I'm going to see if I can do stage crew though...

We have One Act plays, Adaptations (Take something and put music into it--for each grade. About 45 minutes long each.), and a spring musical.

There wasn't enough funding and the arts programs were cut. There were also a lot of issues with the teachers' union and having extra curricular activities. They weren't happy about the double cohort.

Our thespian club also puts on a small one act production in the Black Box. We have a great Arts program, and the Visual and Performing Arts Center has two theaters. The 400 seater, and the smaller Black Box, which is just a room that has black walls and a small portable stage. You can move everything around in it. I love our Arts program. Off Topic

Yeah, it's a big deal at our school. And the musical Evangeline that my teacher helped right did pretty well. They came out with a concept recording, it aired on PBS, and had productions throughout Louisiana. It just ran at our community theater. I'm hoping that it continues to do well.

Man, you guys are lucky. My school finally got a huge auditorium and we still don't do any good plays. A few years back, we did My Fair Lady and we've done a whole bunch of small plays that no one has ever heard of, and we are doing Oklahoma this year, but the drama teacher refuses to let us do any bigger plays. *sigh*

OMG I just went to Anthony's signing in LA and it was amazing!
Tracie showed up and they sang Seasons of Love and Tracie lost the key or notes or somethin in the middle and it was sooo cute and funny! I love them both soooo much!!!

I took a picture in the tango pose too! (Like in RENTingFAME's avatar)
