I hate to seem that I'm constantly whining. I'm very excited that you've all got the book and are enjoying it. But at the same time, I want it *pouts*

Mine is supposed to come either today or tomorrow. My friend has it already and we were talking about it all day during lunch. My other friend told us to get a life.

*is a crying mess right now*

I had to stop reading for a minute. The emotion throughout this book is so powerful and OVERWHELMING, I actually had to stop reading just so I could calm myself down. I know that probably sounds kind of crazy, but... I really mean it.

Probably in honor of her getting Anth's book. XD

You're telling me. The parts about his mom especially got to me, because of my own experiences.

I'm honestly beginning to think I won't be able to make it through the rest of this book without completely falling apart. I haven't even finished the Jonathan chapter yet, and I am an absolute wreck.

I must agree. I went to 5 places at lunchtime and no one had it. I'm thinking I have to order it online. Grr...

We only have one real bookstore in this city, and they didn't have it, so now I have to wait until I go home for reading break.

I'm still sad poor Sarah.

Ditto on the crying mess...not much makes me cry, but parts of "Without You" made me *bawl*...the way Anthony writes is just very personal, you almost forget that you're reading a story rather than having one told to you (if that makes sense).

I've read some of it. I'm trying to read it slowly... but already it's so amazing.

Same here, Gwen. I'm really trying to savor it, but it's just lying there, staring at me and demanding to be read.

hey everybody --

First of all, may I say how blown away I am by all of the kind things you've been saying about the book? Thank you so much for all of your support with it. Writing it was the most challenging experience of my creative life, so the response you are giving it is intensely gratifying.

I found out we're already going into a second printing of the book, and that it is already backordered in some markets, which explains some of the strange release pattern. Also, Amazon has a glitch in their system with their distributor of Simon & Schuster titles, which they are working to resolve.

so have patience, all... you'll be able to get your books soon...

I also wanted to let you know that I just found out I'll be doing a late-night, *all-ages* gig with Albinokid at The Cutting Room on the 21st following my Barnes & Noble reading & signing event. There should be an official press release going out soon about this, but can you start to spread the word? The cover charge will be a very affordable $10, so I hope you guys who are in and around NYC will be able to make it.

I look forward to seeing the Chicagoland folks tomorrow at Barbara's.

Again, THANK YOU for everything.

Take care --

Anthony

Darnit, yet another reason I wish I were in NYC. Any plans of doing something more in San Francisco?

Well, I went ahead and ordered it online. I have things to do the rest of the week, so it's not like I'd be able to read it anyhow, right? I said, RIGHT?? *smile and nod* =)

I'll just stay away from the spoilers...

Yes, I think it's a good thing that I have absolutely no way of getting this book for another couple of weeks. I've got papers due next week.

So do I, CS. That and midterms. Ditching school on Thursday for the book siging doesn't help too much, either.
