So do I, CS. That and midterms. Ditching school on Thursday for the book siging doesn't help too much, either.

"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?" "Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good." He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?" "Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women." "My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much." I'd have to ditch a few days of school to make it to a booksigning.

I need to go find a copy of the book... anyone think a central PA mall bookstore would have it? Me either. And my Border's at home is only getting in ONE copy. AHHH... I need to find it.

Oh, yeah... *waves to Anthony* update

I finally finished the Jonathan chapter, so I'm taking a break for a bit to let my emotions calm down. That chapter was extremely intense.

I'm not sure if I will read any more tonight, as I have a test to study for... plus, I'm reeeeeeeeeeally trying to make this last. *sigh*

Woo, Amazon shipped the book! Now I can cross amazon.com off of my hit list (yes, I was very angry last night at Amazon...)

Ooh, a gig on the 21st? It just so happens that I'm going to the booksigning that day, so maybe I can go. I'll be going into school late on Wednesday anyway, so why not make the night even better? update

CS - I'll have to join in with that. As much as I love this country... I always feel so... left-out. XD But I still love being Canadian.

Hey everyone,

Has anyone been able to contact Barbara's Bookstore to ask what their policies are for the book signing tomorrow (do you need to buy book there to have it signed, cameras, etc.)? I have been trying to contact them for the past couple of days . And since we're driving from out of town, are there any road construction we need to be aware of in the Oak Park area?

Also, should those of us here going to the Chicago signing do something (gesture, nametag/notecard with BWW on it,. . .I can't think of anything else)so we can recognize each other?

I would also like to remind the people driving great distances to Chicago tomorrow to watch the weather for any sudden changes.

One more note: My book came in yesterday, and I finished it last night (or early this morning). I'm still processing it. A review could be up by this weekend.

Edit: Hey, Anthony. Glad to see you posting. I'll see you tomorrow (just as long as we don't accidentally end up in Canada).

I've finished reading three chapters already. Wow, this book is so great. I haven't found a book that I actually wanted to read in a long time. I really have to pace myself with this one 'cause I don't want to read it all too fast. It's a very good book so far.

If only the 21st were a Monday... like last year. (Not that my 21st birthday was fun on a Monday, but still.) I have 4 classes on Tuesdays and two on Wednesdays; I need to go to all of them. Grr fooey.

CS - I know. Dual citizenship would rock. I'd love to live there just for Broadway and book signings.

Dual citizenship would take a lot of work though. As far as I know you have to denounce your citizenship in order to become American, because they don't have dual, like Canada. Because we're cool. So I think you'd have to reapply to be Canadian. I'll just stick to being Canadian, but live in the states.
