Well, I don't think it's a bad picture of you at all, and I thank you for sharing it.
Too bad I live in South Carolina... I don't think anyone even knows it exists anymore. It's still here, I promise! And we have bookstores, I swear! *sigh*

I was there tonight, too. I'm two plus hours away from Oak Park because I'm in college, right now. So, I blew off classes and work and left for the signing mega-early. My friend and I walked in the door of the bookstore at 2:30 p.m. for the 7:30 signing. Needless to say, we were the first ones there. I wasn't planning on posting about my experieces because I'm now over 50 pages behind on this thead (damn my busy life), but I just wanted to mention that it turns out I was sitting like 6 people away from Wanderingchild. (In case you were wondering, I was the girl in the pink sweater sitting directly in front of Anthony in the first row). Small world, huh?

It's great for you guys that you had such great seats. I should have been there an hour ahead of time and it ended up taking me over an hour to go the last 10 miles. I walked in at 7:25 and got stuck way in the back. Luckily, I'm tall enough that I could still see, but I ended up pretty close to the end of the line for his autograph. I think there were only about 20 people behind me.

I hadn't seen this before. Congrats, Anthony! You've got yourself a hit - not like you had to tell us.

I tried really hard to do the whole "reading it slowly" bit, Mel... that lasted about a day, and then the book DEMANDED to be finished. Okay, I have NO willpower. *sigh* I suppose I'll start re-reading soon.
