I hate rap. That's about it. I'm not really clear on what emo is...I might not like it, heh. But I probably do, since I like at least two bands/people from every genre except rap. The Broadway thing is a relatively new (and startling) revelation for me.

Emo is "emotional music". It's basically a bunch of guys crying about their life, and usually their relationships. Some emo songs are ago, but a lot of them suck.
And I think I've heard that one. I've heard a lot of Garth songs. :)
The ones I listed are the ones I listen to the most though.

Ugh. I hate Emo. It doesn't help my situation that all my friends are goths.

I was a camp counselor and a bus counselor and on my bus I brought a radio and told kids they could bring in their favorite cd's. One little girl brought in Garth Brooks and I heard the song "Wrapped Up In You" and dl it as soon as I got home, what a cute song!
& everyone in my school, or at least most, are emos. They all have their emo bands like "Mary Bliss's Fatal Kisses" and "Lifes Detour"...typical Long Island.

Oooh, favourite music! I'm such a big Garth Brooks fan. The Change is one of my favourite country songs. Jason McCoy is really great, too. He's a Canadian artist whose first hit was Born Again in Dixieland. LOVE it. Country was the first genre of music I really got into, and I'm still a big fan.
Also, BON JOVI! I can't think of a better music video than the one for Always, starring Keri Russell and Jason Wiles. Definitely my favourite Bon Jovi song. I also love Elvis Costello (especially Alison, but it's my name, so I may have a slight bias), Michael Bublé, Our Lady Peace, Robbie Williams, and Bruce Guthro, who's a Maritime artist... my first ever concert. Very fond memories there.

Heh, lyrics from an emo song (Ohio is for Lovers)
So cut my wrists and black my eyes
(Cut my wrists and black my eyes)
So I can fall asleep tonight or die
Because you kill me
You know you do, you kill me well
You like it too, and I can tell
You never stop until my final breath is gone
Such a happy song, I know.
Oh, and I agree with Allie, Bon Jovi is great. :)
