Welcome, Anthony Rapp! (part two)

The NEW ones are crazy looking? When were these things ever normal looking?!

Why was that ever a good idea for kids? Mine would only fart and say 'feed me!' Eventually, my brother and I threw it across the room but it still kept going.

*shivers* Those things are dolls from hell!

Another good site is www.retrojunk.com

I was addicted to that for a while.

I can't believe we've turned this thread into a 90s childhood nostalgia discussion. Anthony was already in Rent while we were playing with Tomagachis and Furbies.

I can't decide which was the stranger fad: POGS, or these things.

Then we must show Anthony what he missed, not being a child of the '90s!

I'm sure people think that about things in the 90s too.

Kooshballs! I just remember that Rosie O Donnell was like obsessed with them, and that's how they became popular.

I have the ones she used to fling into the audience... I bought them at K-mart. Myspace I LOVE THOSE THINGS. *has a draw full of them*

Though I'm not sure why those were any more popular than any other kind of ball, I loved them. I still do. They make me happy all over.

Koosh balls were squishy. That's why they were popular, heh.

In other news, we had a conversation about Sesame Street in math class. We talked about how horrified we were that the cookie monster no longer eats cookies, how Ms. Piggy is scary and we pondered why Kermit was with her. I said that he was probably too scared of her to leave her.

Teddy Ruxpin scared the living crap out of me. The really slow eye blinking thing was just terrifying, like I was expecting he would open them again and they would be all scary and evil.

Ugh, I was just about to go to bed and my roommate came back from some overnight trip and decided to unpack (open and close her drawers over and over again) right now.

Not as much as before. And no, she never noticed the plate was gone.
