Of course not, but you know how sometimes drag queen makeup can LOOK a little scary? Kinda in the same way clown makeup can? Anthony managed to make it look pretty.
I went on that site for a minute in December just to look around a little. Definitely not my thing. At times I do like slash, but it seemed weird when I knew I was meeting Anthony in two months. (SF booksigning, yay, my inner 16-year-old comes out!) I admit I'm older, 32, and do think that certain young teens could handle that stuff. However, I still think it is risky, and that an age limit, like 15, or 16 should be set. I'm not a member of course, and I think talking about Roger/Mark doing whatever is OK, but I think it could get dangerous to be overly sexual about the actors. Some private thoughts or fantasies should remain private. Not just because the actors may or may not freak out. I get it, they are probably used to it, and their partners probably can laugh it off. (though Adam's kids may be freaked later.)However, even with screening techniques, you never really know if someone is crazy or not, and you just have to be careful about not fueling someone's delusions. I also do not like what I think is the cliquey nature of that board, and think age is the only objective screening of people. (then ban the other ones that aren't appropriate, once that becomes clear).
You must think I'm still sixteen.
I dropped out of high school for a reason.
And I don't care if you're pretty. I'm not admitting you are right.

saschasf, Anthony/Adam fiction is actually not my cup of tea. Some of it does get posted from the one or two girls who write it, but there actually hasn't been any lately. Most of the girls and boys on the site prefer not to write it. But to each his or her own.
I still don't think that picture of Rodney does him justice. I wish I could find his headshot or something online, he looks exactly like himself in that.

saschasf, the thing that bothers me about Inapropo is that the actors may be reading it- I know Anthony's ventured there. To me, the real person fanfiction is disrespectful. I understand that the writers didn't mean it to be, but if things like that were written about me, I would be offended. *shrugs*
I do agree with you about the age limit. Not that I don't think people under 15 can't handle it- just to be safe.
