Every once in a while Iink to this article that was going to run in a newspaper that ended up being killed by the editor. Somehow it found its way where it wasn't supposed to go: online.

It's a deep background investigation of all things Phelps, and it's profoundly depressing. I remember as I started reading it I was thinking "I will finally know the true story of these monsters," and instead I ended up feeling kinda hopeless and really sad.

I'm about halfway through the article. I figured since I was already brooding over the oil spill and other global and personal disasters that now was as a good a time as any, but Jesus. I'll have to finish the rest tomorrow because I honestly can't take any more.

These people claim to be following the bible but they apparently have skipped over the teachings of Christ. They would spit and hate on Jesus if he walked the earth today. These people actually think they got a one way ticket to heaven and all others will burn in hell. I think when their day comes and they meet their maker and find themselves being judged, they are in for one hell of a shock.That daughter forgiving them and feeling sad for their ignorance is the only sign of Christianity I have seen so far from the Phelps family.

Anna's Facebook page is very interesting. He wants to live the way God wants him to live. I don't understand why God doesn't want him to live as someone who spells properly.

As for music, he likes "parts of Rent." The five seconds that aren't about drugs, sex or gay people, I guess. Maybe he likes any part with Benny?
