I'm reading-
A- Flowers for Algernon
B- My Little Friends
a billion page- incredibly dark book about a toddler being strangled and hung in his neighbors yard. It's not really a horror story exactly, but veeery dark and emotionless. It's hard to explain but it's AMAZING.
C- Les Miserables. I've decided to take it down.
Gentlemen Of The Road by Michael Chabon
Snuff by Palahniuk
Duma Key by Stephen King
Why We S***
Dennis Leary
taz, how's Snuff? That one's in line after I finish what I'm reading now (which'll probably be tonight).
"When Things Fall Apart" by Pema Chodron
I just finished reading Eclipse. The Twilight books are quite possibly the worst books I've ever read and yet I'm buying Breaking Dawn to avoid the lengthy waiting list at the library. Bad Mary Sue stories are my crack.
I read the firsnt book of the Twilight series and was horrified.
I just finished reading The Last Picture Show and In Cold Blood, two books that I enjoyed immensely. Although, In Cold Blood was much better than The Last Picture show
I just picked up The Last of the Mohecans but I am really not liking it, so I may get another book instead.
I read the first book of the Twilight series and was horrified.
Lately, I've been reading novels by Jeffrey Archer.
I read all four Twilights and ugh, I hated them, but I read them all anyway. But I would rather decapitate myself than reread them.
C- Les Miserables. I've decided to take it down.
You'll be glad you read it. I was really intimidated by it because of the length, but it turned out to be really readable and really exciting-- and I love how different the characters are than the musical. I've read it five times by now, and I keep discovering new things I love about it.
F. Scott Fitzgerald's first novel, This Side of Paradise and Unaccustomed Earth by Jhumpa Lahiri.

In Spite of Myself: A Memoir by Christopher Plummer
I don't normally read too many books, unfortunately. I guess I have to really want to read something to do it.
Anyway, I just picked up Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World. I've only read a couple of chapters so far, but I like it. I actually ended up buying it because I'm #8 on the reserve list at the library for it, and that means I won't get it for 4 months or more, and I couldn't wait that long.
Next I plan on reading Gypsy Rose Lee's memoir. I just need to wait for that to come in the mail, and until I finish my current book.
EVIE, I love Watchers. It is one of my all time favorites.
I'm really liking it so far! The only other Koontz books I've read are the Odd Thomas ones but decided to try this one cos of the dog on the cover..LOl!
I'm reading The Dead Beat, which is about obituaries and the people who love them. The author is Marilyn Johnson.
I just started a new book tonight. Beachcomber by Karen Robbards. It's about a serial killer killing babes at the beach in the Outer Banks. But I think theres a love story in there somewhere too. Not with the serial killer, but with one of the witnesses to one of the murders and her neighbor. The only reason I know that is because of the jacket.
EVIE - If you haven't read Lightning by Koontz, pick it up next.
Thanks Mister Matt, watching it in My Ebay.
