For me, it's q-tips. Can't live a day without my q-tips. When I ran out and didn't have any money, I made excuses daily to go to my grandmum's and use hers. Gotta have the q-tips.

I've got to listen to at least one Broadway cast recording everyday, even it's a few songs. Yeah, I'm a Broadway freak. But everyone is on here. LOL

Hmm...a lot of things actually. I really don't like when people move my stuff and will usually move it back exactly to where it was...yeah I'm a bit strange. I also get incredibly bothered when people chew with their mouth open and that type of thing, I really just can't stand it. There are other things too but I don't want to sound too weird so I'll stop.

I agree. I hate the wet, waxy, sticky feeling in my ears, so I adore q-tips.

I'm also OCD about the cleanliness of my hands. I carry Purell around with me, and refuse to touch public bathroom doors when I leave. I do the knuckle-knob-grab, if I can't do the 'rip off some paper towel to touch the doorknob'.

And grammar and spelling errors drive me crazy. Especially people who do 'its/it's' and 'they're/there/their'.

I didn't know that other people shared my q-tip obession. I must have q-tips.

I'm also really anal about the whole soundtrack/cast recording deal. I cringe whenever I hear someone say "the Wicked soundtrack."

Haha type_a_tiff, I'm like that about public bathroom doors too! I usually just take some paper towel and open it like that...I can be a bit of a germaphobe sometimes.

Too many things. For Example:

Apt- must be clean before I go to sleep. And I mean throw pillows in proper placement, clothing put away, dishes cleaned, etc.

Must always have ample supply of Unisom and Q Tips (Me too!)

Legos - (for my nieces and nephews) are properly stored (put together sets in one container, plain pieces in another, and "Other" pieces in it's own container.

Fridge - liquids on top, cheeses and yogurts in the middle, and Dr Pepper on the bottom shelf.

Noise at night- (earplugs in when sleeping) - noise is NOT ok -planes overhead, people talking in parking lot, neighbors "enjoying" their time together, cars honking, etc - must have absolute quiet.

OMG....what's wrong with me???

I suppose it's my bedroom. it's quite an ordeal to keep everything organized and pristine, but I have to otherwise I can't sleep in there. dust collects very easily so I have to dust everything at least once a week. my dog spends a lot of time in there ON MY BED so the blankets have to be washed often, the carpet vacuumed and all my entertainment weather it be CDs or DVDs or VHS is all cataloged and alphabetized and in different sections ie soundtracks, cast recordings, musicals on DVD, musicals on VHS, non musical DVDs and non musical VHS and then comedy, drama, romance... my family thinks it's sick... but I totally acknowledge the eccentricities of it... it does make it very easy to find things though. like if a friend wants to borrow something I always know exactly where it is and that's a cool feeling...

I'm very strange. I will die if I don't listen to at least one Broadway song a day as well. I also hate it when the inside of my wrists and elbows are exposed. *shivers*

I agree with the spelling/grammar.

I have to have the door locked when I am home all the time, if I think there is the slightest chance I left it unlocked (even though I know I locked it), I'll get out of bed and go check.

Also, I'm always on time. If I'm meeting someone and they are late, or if I'm in a class and the prof goes overtime, I go crazy and get tons of built up anger inside from it.

I hate any light in the room when I sleep, I'm completely paranoid about food going bad, and once I start a book I have to finish it..

Although i'm feeling fairly non crazy, after reading the rest of the posts...re: What are you obsessive compulsive about?

How about throughout the play, you continue to offer me things like a black cloak, or a black cape, or a broom to make me look more and more like Margaret Hamilton did! These attempts at humor will be painfully predictable from a mile away! AUDIENCE collectively groans.

I'm totally feeling the spelling/grammar thing. Also, I have to wash my hands all the time. If there's the slightest chance I touched something not clean, I have to wash them again.

Also, a crazy, little OCD thing:
My magazines. I don't have a ton of magazines, but if I get one, it has to be perfect. No tears, no bends, no doggy ears. I will look through an entire stack to make sure I have the right one. It's actually really sad.

It's somewhat of an organization thing mostly.

I just need things in the right spots and what not. One thing with my ntoes is they have to be really organized and set up nicely, I hate when teachers explain things jumping around randomly and give me a horrible flow to my notes and ****s with me.

I just have a weird organization OCD, bout it. Although it can get annoying and weird, like things really do have to perfectish at times. I effin measured where I put posters on my walls, like they have to be the same distances from each other and have some type of evenness or pattern to where they are set up. Same with lots of things... just organization overall in my life.

Damn it OCD!

Everything either needs to be pristine and organized, or in a total chaos. I'll get out of bed in the middle of the night if I've just cleaned my desk and I think a pen or paper is sitting wayward on it.

LOL. Yes, Rath.

I'm OCD about washing dishes.. specifically how they fit into the dishwasher. All the forks have to be together (not really in the same bin). After the forks come whatever, and then when they're in their bins, comes the spoons. It's weird. I know.

I'm OCD about paper towels. I have to have two full sheets everytime. I dunno why.

I couldn't care less about my room though. I'm hardly ever there so it doesn't really matter.

Well, since I actually have OCD, I do too many things to mention but when I finished reading this thread, before I posted, I checked to see if my door is locked and cleaned my ears with q-tips...

Other things I do are checking. Thats why I don't get sleep at night, cause I get up a million times to check things that I really know are fine but I can't trust myself.

I also do a lot of counting. And things have to be even/symmetrical. If I break a nail on my right hand, I auomatically have to break or cut my nail on my other hand. My counting numbers tend to be 3 or 18. For some reason, when I come in my apartment and I lock my door, I have to stand looking out the peep hole for 18 seconds...

alright, now that I'm making myself sound weirder every second....I think I'll shut up.
