Me? Angels & Demons.
Da Vinchi Code is next on my list

You think it'll be a musical someday
(That's a joke, people)

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

Re-reading Da Vinci Code and poring through Europe guidebooks. Somehow DVC doesn't seem as gripping the second time round. I really can't see Tom Hanks as Langdon, but that's another can of worms.

"At the opening night party, they had clowns on stilts, jugglers, a chocolate fountain, popcorn, hot dogs. [My son] looked at me like I had been holding back. Like, 'This is what you do?' I had to tell him, 'No, no, darling. Opening nights don't usually look like this.' It's usually a dark bar with a bottle of vodka." ?Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's Jan Maxwell plus i proudly share the title of the shortest member over the age of 10 with wickedrentq!

I just finished the new Michael Crichton book.
It was really good, talks about whether or not their actually is global warming and the enviromental issues or if it's all just 1970's theories being rehashed.
It was a good read though.

King of Torts by John Grisham. His books are a lot of fun.
Racetrack, what do you think of the Lovely Bones? I read it and it stayed with me for a long time afterwards.

Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell. I was not looking forward to it as I had heard a lot of negative things about it, but I am absolutely loving it. Every page is a joy.

What are you making of Line Of Beauty, Billy?
