Posted: 11/6/12 at 7:57pmI advise periodically going to Politico. Get to see what's up w/out commercials and can drill down and get data without all the yapping. (Love msnbc -- I'm jealous Jordan! -- but it's a lot of talk. Not as bad as CNN, though.)

According to friends that I trust, there are still people in line in both Virginia and Florida.
Northern Virginia has always been the last counties counted, and that is generally a Dem stronghold. Also don't be surprised if native son and Constitution Party candidate Virgil Goode plays a bit of a spoiler. He was a former Congressman there and people loved voting for that kook.
And don't do Politico. They're the biggest anti-Nate Silver people of the journo-pundits.

I no longer trust CNN. They too often want to get the "scoop". After 2004 and 2008 when they went back and forth on projections, I tuned them out for elections. Disasters, yes. Elections no.

Posted: 11/6/12 at 8:30pmWhat better time to watch Kenneth Branagh's "Love's Labour's Lost" than when everything else on TV seems even more deathly. Also, Nate Silver's blog is auto-refreshing, which is disconcerting.

Posted: 11/6/12 at 8:52pmIt may have been said here already, but all Obama needs is Ohio and Florida, of the swing states. And he is currently leading in both, according to HuffPost.

Every time I come back to this page, Jordan's very patriotic avatar distracts me.
Thanks Jordan...

Instead of doing homework, I'm glued to HuffPo and FB.

Shush, Playbilly.
I'm watching Brian Williams and CBS. I can't watch John King and his magic graphics on CNN any more.
The butterflies are really building, I'm actually sore with nerves. My own state was just called for Obama, thankfully - my vote made all the difference. You're welcome.

Thankfully I had to work all day and haven't been glued to anything. But there was one guy in the studio today who kept checking online and then yelling out results. I tuned him out.
I am agreeing with Roxy (OMG!!!) and not turning on any news until later tonight.
I just can't take the stress.
