I'm pretty sure it's the white men who gave her a talk show, put "The View" on the air, gave her movie roles and who gave her a start at Comedy Clubs. After all, it's the white men who are in charge at the networks, studios, etc.

I give up. You know what she was saying. I know what she was saying. But in the end, I've spent more energy than I care to sticking up for someone whose behavior has left something to be desired recently and who can't be bothered to type out the word "are", even if it is on HER blog.

If you don't agree with that, then you can't buy the arguments of those trying to defend her by saying that when she says white men, she means those in charge.

EVERY day is White Man Pride Day. When one group has a history of opprressing other, it might be helpful if they would take one day, just one little day, and SHUT THE F UP.

I certainly do not advocate for any kind of bashing or animosity against white people. As a matter of fact, the person I have had a very special relationship with for over two years is a Mormon-raised white man from Arizona and my best friend/roommate's family has a museum dedicated to them in a town in New Jersey that they founded. So I certainly have no animosity towards white people nor do I agree with anyone who calls for "bashing" or violence towards them.
Having said that, I think it's beyond ridiculous that a white person feels that they have been bashed for too long or that they don't have a special day, etc. Please, white people run this country, like it or not there is an innate position of power that comes with being white. You can be naive and say that color doesn't matter, but unfortunately it does. Perhaps when you're white you just assume that things go beyond color, but as a Latino man I have experienced many different situations that prove that wrong.
And it was the white supremacist men that Rosie had to fight to get to where she is, and it is their fault that she has decided to part the view.
Oh, and I hate the way she writes on the blog too, hard to take her seriously.
