re: What else do you all listen to?

I've got very ecclectic taste..... Anyone who looks at my iTunes or my CD collection can see why!

(Just to name a few in each)

I've got new stuff -- Lindsay Lohan, Gwen Stefani (LOVE her new song), J-Kwon, Simple Plan, Avril Lavigne, Black Eyed Peas...

I've got showtunes -- Chicago (movie and show), Wonderful Town, Little Women, Carols for a Cure, tick tick BOOM, Rent, Rocky Horror (movie and show), Urinetown, Gypsy, Wicked, AQ, Wild Party, Nine...

I've got old stuff -- The Drifters, The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Barry White, Nena (Who rememebers 99 Luftballoons?), The Beach Boys, The Monkees, Toni Basil, The Coasters, Elton John, Rupert Holmes (Escape -- the pina coloda song)...

I've got rock -- Journey, Kansas, AC/DC, Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Twisted Sister, David Lee Roth, Billy Joel...

And everything inbetween lol

re: What else do you all listen to?

Currently in the CD player/most play list:

PuffyAmiYumi: I found this in my college radio station and took a listen to it- Japanese pop with a hint of punk garage-esque rock. Excellent AND catchy.

U2 "How To Dismantle...": God, do I love this band. The CD was worth the five weeks of bugging my station manager.

"Enjoy Every Sandwich- The Songs of Warren Zevon": Wasn't a big fan of Zevon's until I picked this up. The covers are awesome.

The Thrills "Let's Bottle Bohemia": Love this album, and it's being showing up on my playlist quite a bit lately.

Jackson Browne "Running On Empty": Nicked it from my dad's CD collection. Great album, and "The Load-Out" is my official Activities Board song.

Holiday playlist: Holiday songs ranging from Vince Guaradi's (sp) work on "A Charlie Brown Christmas" to John Lennon's "Happy XMas (War is Over)" to Zooey Deschanel and Leon Redbone's "Baby, It's Cold Outside." Double points for the Ramones' "Merry Christmas (I Don't Want To Fight Tonight)."

Musical playlist: This gets highly interesting, because I have the whole thing on random. 7 full CR, and a bit of Aida and Ave Q. and you get a hell of a good time.

And, my fave, ANYTHING by the Boss. Currently, the most played album is a 1996 tribute album, but "Darkness..." has been finding a way into the CD player.
"During this performance, please feel free to let your cell phones and pagers ring willy-nilly. However, do remember that there are heavily-armed knights on stage and you might well be dragged up and impaled." (Pre-curtain announcement at the new Broadway musical Monty Python's Spamalot)

Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Harvey Danger, Journey, i dont know, a lot of rock music. Like for example, i adore the Underworld soundtrack. The Smiths "Asleep" is a good song... um... i dont know. Showtunes are still the best though.
