What happened to the oldies?

Recently I have noticed that alot of the BWW "oldies" have been missing. Whenever I go to the main board I don't recognise any of the names. Did they all leave or have they been kidnapped by RSR?

I love this board and all, but I have to say that I miss the old one. There was just somethin' about the Broadway.com board that I will always hold near and dear to my heart.

What did you miss PJ? The love/hate relationship between Dollypop and FaithPrinceFan?

Ah yes Broadway.com, I agree I will always have a little bit of it set aside in my heart. A place where everyone was an asshole to everyone else yet at the end of the day everyone was better for it.

She found PrinceRogerChico and they lived happily ever after.

re: What happened to the oldies?

Why can you type out "assholes" but not "c****nay" (a type of white wine) or "cocktail" (what you have for happy hour)? Is it the reference to the male anatomy or the alcohol part that's being censored? Or are one of the powers-that-be big ol' ass-lovers? Do they hate phalluses?

re: What happened to the oldies?

no, it is actually just giddy schoolgirls/boys that are making a point of the appearance of the phallical word in the compound word.

Nug if you are going to use the describing word of God's greatest gift to a man, use it correctly! It's phallic not phallical! I will not stand here while my manhood is disrespected by misspellings!

Speaking of Broadway.COm, whatever happened to the less-than-beloved "Tamimi"?

I was never a part of the Broadway.com world.

I came to RobD as a virgin in the world of cyber message boards.

Broadway.com was my start in the posting of theater. It was a lot of fun and laughs. The spats were legendary.

re: What happened to the oldies?

Broadway.com just had a more vibrant sense of life and spirit than this board has. Although occasionally the BWW.com board does tap into that.

re: What happened to the oldies?

I remember the longest thread on Bway.com was trying to figure out a way for a "poor college student" to get to CA to NY to see a show. I believe Dollypop was kind enough to offer to let her stay at his home.
What was her name? Theater girl? Somebody help me.
