What's wrong with that? Is there a minimum annual book consumption quota? A lot of dickishness on this thread all of a sudden.

I really hope you are joking because that is very stereotypical. I am straight and don't like sci-fi movies, read anywhere between 5-10 books a year, loves Broadway musicals/plays and sports (especially Yankee baseball). I can only imagine what someone would say if the same stereotypical remark was made about gays on this board. I am sorry the OP was having issues in his life but it seems he is doingbetter
???????Are you really sure you are straight?

"5 whole books a year? Wow!!"
Read my post again, I said 5-10. Funny how you took the bottom number to try and be sarcastic. Sure in a perfect world, I would love to read more but there is this thing called life that gets in the way sometimes. I don't equate the amount of books you read in a year with someone's intelligence. Plus, I have several different things I like to do with my free time after working and doing the every day stuff around the house. I am an avid tennis player and play 3-4 times a week weather permitting. I also like to jog some days and enjoy playing my acoustic guitar. I love photography and sometimes will just go places and take pictures of stuff that interest me. My wife and I are fortunate to have the money and love to travel, went to England and Ireland last spring. We also enjoy day trips and drive up to Asheville NC to spend the day at the historic Biltmore House for example. In other words, I read when I want to and don't worry about the number of books I complete in a year.

lol. I think my wife of almost 30 years will verify that I am.

Funny that I started this thread 11 days ago and in the short time that has passed someone walked into my life and restored my faith in myself, my sexuality...and love.
Thank you Keith...(who is looking over my shoulder as I type this.)

Forget the Kleenex--Wet Ones as the best for all emergencies.[love towels I call them].
I can remember the days when some idiots actually were prescribed LSD to help 'change' this DEPLORABLE physo.situation. Certainly outside pressure influences the ideas and actions of many but we all hopefully have the right to choose which path/detour we take in this very short life[and yes-twice now 'back from the dead'] so don't dwell on indecisions for too long because--PUFF[poof?--ALL GONE too soon!
Be happy.Carlos [love all your posts]...............SL.............x
Probably no different than a straight person is disillusioned. Take a break because when you're not looking, that's when you find the right person. In the meantime go out with friends and enjoy your life. Happiness is not always tied into exclusive relationships.
