Posted: 5/17/14 at 3:29pmI would like to go to London someday to check out the theater scene over there. I would also love to revisit Los Angeles and do more than drive through Chicago. And cities in the USA that I have yet to visit but want to are Seattle and San Francisco.

So many things, but my most important is to visit Russia in 2018 for the 100 year anniversary of the Romanov murders. I want to visit all their palaces in St. Petersburg, Tsarskoe Selo, Peterhof, and the Crimea, then go west out to Tobolsk and finally to Ekaterinburg for the midnight mass on July 16-17. Can you tell I've been planning? But the way it looks now the political situation will probably prevent me from ever getting there, which is sad.
Some others:
visit Savannah
get a book published
have a house in Key West
see every Bette Davis movie

1. Live in a large open floor plan loft apt. (which I could do if I ever left NYC) but I won't.
2. Get my unfinished at the moment book published.
I feel blessed because I've always just gone and done what I wanted.

How many words do you have?
I'm finding the editing/proofreading process to be a lot more frustrating than the writing. Three proofreaders are MIA and one wants to rewrite the whole thing.
#21What's On Your Bucket List?
Posted: 5/22/14 at 9:18pmI'm not that far. First thing I did was ask a professional reader I know to read what I had and tell me if it's any good. If she said no, then I wouldn't have to write the book. But she liked it. So now I'm retyping the whole thing in some kind of semblance or order. I'm not counting words but I don't want the finished thing to be more than about 200 pages.

I had a goal of 80,000 words and set a daily goal of 2,000 a day. I figured that was a fair number since the only time I could devote to writing was after work and weekends. I did make it to 80,000+ and 257 double spaced pages.
I'm still waiting on feedback but I have high hopes for it and big plans. If I didn't I would never have started :)
My brain is so far ahead of me I've already started planning the book release party at 54 Below

Haha - I'm going to Broadway with lyrics by Amanda Green!
I mention a lot of real songs in the book so I'll be teaming up with Born for Broadway to present a concert of the songs at 54 Below.
I'll also be going to San Diego Comic Con and other awesome places *grins*
