WARNING: Don't read this thread if you have eaten recenty, or want to eat soon.

What's the sickest thing you have ever seen in a horror film? Don't go into details, as we don't want to be put off of our meals. But still.

For me, it was probably the opening scene in GHOST SHIP.

*SPOILERS*

What about the offscreen scene in Happiness where Dylan Baker drugs and rapes his 11 year old son's friend and then the kid wakes up complaining about "Blood in my B.M."

Or when the 11 year old son actually masturbates onto a handrail later in the same film. Disturbing because the movie is forcing you to watch as a child indulges in this act and also implies that he could one day end up like the Phillip Seymour Hoffman character. "I came!"

The baby in Eraserhead?

The rotting corpse in Mulholland Dr.?

The abortion scene in Wild at Heart?

Crispin Glover putting ants in his underwear in Wild at Heart?

The vomit on the floor that flies infest in Wild at Heart?

The abuse in Blue Velvet?

I'm a huge fan of rape revenge movies, being a hardcore man-hating feminist. Therefore, "I Spit on Your Grave" has a special place in my heart particularly for the Drano-down-the-rapist's-throat scene. Followed by foamy pink eruption (and much screaming), of course!

In "Urban Legends" when they melt the little dog in the microwave re: What's the absolute SICKEST thing you have ever seen in a horror film? It makes me need to vomit. It looks like a pizza exploded. To this day I cannot deal with anything blowing up in the microwave and then having to clean it.

Elphaba-- I've seen The Last House on the Left and I know exactly what you're talking about. I hated that movie, but really perked up when that come on.

I'm also going to have to agree with the crucifix + Regan thing in The Exorcist.

Honestly, though, one of the most upsetting things I've seen is in Texas Chainsaw Massacre when Leatherface takes that girl and just sticks her on the meat hook.
