Taryn, I love that version as well. Scott is wonderful, as is The Equalizer as the Ghost of Christmas Present.

I think Scott's version is the absolute best of the lot.

I just remembered that I actually have the soundtrack to Scrooge. So, here is that beautiful song A Christmas Carol, which plays during the opening credits.

I watched Home Alone yesterday for the first time in like 10 years. And it felt good. I used to watch it nonstop as a kid and was in love with Maculey (sp) Culkin. I must buy it on DVD. And Home Alone 2 is one of the few sequels that almost as good, if not just as good, as the original.

Also, I've really grown to appreciate It's a Wonderful Life in the last few years. I always cry at the end of it.

Remember the Night starting on TCM right now!

Since I STILL can't find it on DVD, and am awaiting Elphaba's DVD tip, I suggest anyone who wants to see it set the DVR!

THANK YOU very much!

I ususally go to oldies.com for vintage films, and hadn't heard of these sites.

I thank you! I can finally retire the VHS of this movie!

re: What's your Favorite Christmas Movie?

FYI, these are not official transfers by the film company, merely someone who did the transfer from the VHS tape themselves.

It'll be nice to have it on DVD though anyway!

Oh my god, I love Remember the Night. I think I used to watch it once a day around the holidays when I was in high school. And my VHS was totally worn from my obsession. So nice to see that others love this film as well. Aww. Bridget Jones, Love Actually and You've got Mail always get me in the holiday spirit as well.

re: What's your Favorite Christmas Movie?

I forgot about The Polar Express. That's another good one.

re: What's your Favorite Christmas Movie?

Though it's not strictly a Christmas movie, the 1994 version of "Little Women" is one of my holiday musts. The holiday scenes seemed almost magical when I was younger.

And if you check out the "Santa Claus Vs. The Martians" poster in an earler post, you'll see that the little Martian girl (center right on the poster) is Pia Zadora!

^ Atleast it's not as bad as fFred Clause. I got a 7 foot poster for Fred Clause. Someone was taking it down at Watertower Place in Chicago and I asked for it, he said sure.

I have a movie poster collection!

re: What's your Favorite Christmas Movie?

I adored "The Christmas Toy" when I was really young. Looooved Rugby and the little mouse, Mew!

I adore both versions of "Miracle on 34th Street"

"It's a Wonderful Life" is one of my all time favorite movies, not just Christmas.

My family and I just finished watching "Muppet Christmas Carol" about ten minutes ago...haha

Love "Nightmare Before Christmas"

"Elf" just makes me darn happy

I also think that "Little Women" has a Christmas feel to it. The one with June Allyson, Elizabeth Taylor, Janet Leigh, and Margaret O'Brien is by far the best, though. I cry when the opening credits start...
