PJ's picture of a stern-faced queen in pale salmon chiffon makes me think that if someone did a "faces of world leaders" morphing video like the "faces of actors" posted elsewhere, Queen Elizabeth II would morph seamlessly into George H.W. Bush. They ARE distant cousins, aren't they?

And what a charming family photo. Grandpa, the Nazi. Grandma, grinning through the pain of working well into her dotage rather than turn the family business over to her idiot son. The idiot son and his second wife: who can look at them without recalling their tawdry sexting during his marriage to his sweet-but-doomed child bride? My sources are telling me a tape of him running around naked chasing a girl, possible bong pictures. and Addison, Phillip was not a Nazi he fought for the allies in world war two, his sisters married men who were nazis though Phillip was not close to these sisters after they got married he didn't even see them or visit them. so the Nazi thing is complete bull ****. As for Harry the spencers are redheads, if you look up pictures of a young Diana she is a redhead he looks like his mothers side of the family that's all there is to it. HM was already on the course to work this much when she started, she promised to devote her life to her country when she was ninteen and she plans to follow through. She had been quoted since before Charles was old enough to assume the throne as saying she would work up to her death, as most of her predecessors have.

I have made disparaging comments about Prince Philip's alleged Nazi ties without having made enough--or indeed any--effort to research the facts. A cursory Google search reveals some smoke, but very little credible evidence of fire. Most of the accusations are of the guilt-by-association type, making much of the politics of his sisters' husbands. If I were judged guilty of the crimes of my siblings' spouses, my head would be on a pike: I will refrain from doing such a disservice to the Prince Consort.

With regard to the paternity of the Naked Prince, I am quite familiar with Harry's resemblance to his Mother. A child's resemblance to one parent, however, is hardly conclusive evidence as to the identity of the other parent.

A better argument--and one that I acknowledge that your comments have brought me to--might be that it is disrespectful to a dead woman to make light mockery of the question, when she was adamant that he was Charles' son. And what business is it of mine anyway?

Long live the (naked) Prince.
