I'm glad you agree with me about insincerity. I wish it was at the top of everyone's list. It would save a lot of messed up lives and broken hearts.

I will have to agree with those who listed insincerity as the clincher. As my grandmother used to say: "Where there is no honesty, there is no trust, and where there is no trust, there is no relationship."

Also (in no particular order)...

- slackers
- lack of oral/overall hygiene
- effeminate men
- habitual tardiness
- drugs (I can tolerate smoking/drinking)
- insensitivity
- illiteracy
- twenty-/thirtysomethings

I'm sure there's more, but that's what I could come up with at the whim of the moment.

Oh, Rath. With your intimate (mis)understanding of gay male culture, I'm (not) surprised that you didn't grasp that I was using "she" in the pre-Stonewall sense to refer to another man. I'm a gay man, I know you don't pick up on things, but still, how could you have missed that?

I could say many things... the thing is, in one way or another, I have ended up going out with someone who had one of those traits.

If there was ONE deal breaker it would be the abuse of drugs, especially the big stuff like coke and meth.

the nerds are the REAL cool people, because they are the ones that care enough to actually delve into whatever theyre into...while the so-called "cool people" are always just scratching the surface of whatver the latest thing is, & then they are on to the next latest thing, without ever really digging in or appreciating anything.
