just throwing this out here. just got off the phone with a good friend who was dating this guy and broke up with him. when i asked why he responed "he just does'nt like the club scene"


anyone else have any "deal breakers" they wanna share?

this one recently happened to me: "i don't use condoms"

i haven't seen him since...and i definitely made the right decision. it is so sad how many people are into bb out there.

Smoking, illegal drugs other than pot, intense partying, a closed mind to things I enjoy... the list is actually endless. I'm picky.

Strangely, I'm a (light) smoker, but I would never date a smoker. Go figure.

My deal breakers are that, bad teeth, and stinginess.

Oh and Republicans/Conservatives, religious zealots and personal trainers and motivational speakers.

And someone who lacks ambition and has no goals for the future beyond getting tickets to the next '80s-has-been concert.

I've edited my post 3 times now.

A man who doesn't tip well and/or is rude to waiters/waitresses.

ok mine is and good lord i know i'm gonna get bitched at for this one, but fem acting guys, ive dated a few and it never worked out, not big into the gay scene, so i go to alot of straight place, and most of my friends are sports guys, so it just doesnt work

Smoking
bad teeth or breath
hairy bodies...not normal ones, grossly hairy
doesn't at least APPRECIATE musical theatre and my chosen career
being too short
overly christian/catholic
being in the army
wanting to get married really soon

I have way too many...I'm so picky.

My main one is drugs, though. (Although one of my best guy friends is a heavy smoker and drinker...he's 17, too.--plus I liked him for a period of time which was awkward).

Insincerity.

Guys who want to sleep with you will pretty much say anything you want to hear. It's amazing how many Academy-level performers are out there, especially if the "motivation" is there for them. So many brilliant actors out on the scene!

That's fine, if all you want to do is sleep around. But if you're looking for something more serious and permanent in a relationship... keep a sharp look out for insincerity. Guys who will say one thing and do another. Actions always speak louder than words.

It was the quickest way for me to move on, back in my "single days."
