Letterman should have replaced him, I feel very bad for him because the powers that be will never let him have that show.
at least Letterman's ratings will go up when Conan takes over.

Or at least I caught a snippet of it once, but quickly changed the channel.
I'm a fan of Craig Ferguson myself, although he's already got a show... hell, they should just give him two because he clearly is too energetic for just one.

Posted: 1/10/07 at 10:08pmIt seems NBC is grooming Carson Daly for Conan's job. Even on New Years Eve he kept saying he can't wait to get back to work in NYC (over and over). I am hoping they go with a relative unknown (like Conan was). We will have to see what NBC Prodouctions and Broadway Video do.

It's like, you know he's going to do it and it's still giggle-worthy. Last night he was dancing around to the San Diego Charger's song... and it was very entertaining!
Oh, and I love his little welcome back's...even though they tend to get repetitive. I think my two favorites are "flamboyantly gay penguins" and "vampire badgers".

FOAnatic -- that is what I heard too. There was some article or TV report on the subject and Jon Stewart was mentioned as a leading candidate to replace Conan.
Of course..I think he was also mentioned as someone who might ultimately replace Letterman once he calls it quit.

God, i recently started working the graveyard shift at work, and can sample late nite TV at my leisure. Dave is SIMPLY NOT FUNNY anymore. He is totally preoccupied with contemplating his own navel and not working at all. His writers have even given up. And somebody needs to shoot Paul Schaeffer and put us all out of our misery. Obnoxious weirdo.
Conan, on the other hand, is hilarious every night.
